Company Driver at Affinity Ghana

Job Summary

• The Company Driver shall be responsible for the transportation of personnel and
• goods of the company. The main duties will include but not limited to running official 
• errands, ensuring routine maintenance of vehicles, maintaining vehicle movement log
• during working hours. Depending on the exigencies of work, the candidate may be 
• required to work into evenings and weekends.
• A strong attention to detail is required 
• in order to execute the role successfully.

Key responsibilities

• Transportation of personnel and goods of the company to and from designated locations according to company policy
• Ensure that the vehicle is maintained properly by doing routine checks and ensure it is always fuelled and ready for use
• Keep mileage records and repair records up to date
• Contact servicing company promptly and deliver vehicle for maintenance when due as per the vehicle’s manufacturer' standard.
• Ensure company vehicle(s) is(are) clean
• Inform supervisor about any potential problem with any car promptly
• To ensure the cars documentation are up to date including road worthy and vehicle insurance

Key skills and requirements

• Unquestionable knowledge and understanding of road safety and traffic regulations and impeccable driving history 
• Competent knowledge and understanding of Accra’s streets and roads
• Must have extensive knowledge of the operating area
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Must be able to work under pressure
• Must be punctual and reliable

Education and professional training

• A valid driver’s license to drive a pickup (Class C Driver’s license or above)
• At least five years' worth of driving experience 
• Minimum of SHS graduate certificate
• Vehicle technician certificate will be an added advantage
