    Compliance and Risk Officer

    Description

    • We would like to bring you on board as a Compliance and Risk Officer in Accra to make our expansion a success story and model for our future endeavours.
    • You will use both technology and security expertise to ensure a safe and vulnerability-free work environment at Webhelp Ghana for our colleagues, customers and Clients.


    What the job feels like

    • On a day-to-day basis, you will bring your specialist skill set to optimize the security of information related to the operations carried out by the company and manage various tools.
    • That is, you will assist our IT experts in the data protection process and in the management of network security, connectivity, and multiple endpoints (laptop, desktop, server, etc.).
    • By providing support in handling security actions, you will help the company to maintain and implement best practices across all its operations in Ghana. You will receive guidance from your manager and team while developing valuable skills in cyber security.


    As a Compliance and Risk Officer in our team, you will:

    • Define and qualify the risk areas in agreement with the Security Governance teams and our Client’s expectations
    • Improve the control in order to eliminate risks (corrective actions)
    • Ensure adherence to the security measures, in relation to the risks identified
    • Analyse agent compliance treatment with potential financial or confidentiality impact (control of activity)
    • Driving accountability through increased awareness and understanding of risks associated with physical, technical and information security gaps.
    • Ensure site performance meets and/or exceeds the standards and SLA’s set forth by the compliance teams, policies and standards
    • Be in charge with fraud management (reporting alerts and charge of investigating suspected cases)
    • Follow and promote procedures related to the security of information systems

    • Have experience in a similar role (preferably in the contact centre/BPO industry)
    • Demonstrate a great command of English, both orally and in writing
    • Pride yourself on your analytical skills
    • Have the ability to anticipate risks
    • Advanced analytical skills
    • Can propose and implement control actions
    • Understand a fraudulent act (coherence between actions, potential benefits, and risk factors)
    • Share our values of commitment, unity, integrity, recognition, and WOW


    It would be a plus if you:

    • Have knowledge of Microsoft Office (proficiency in Excel is ideal)
    • Possess a bachelor’s degree
