Job Overview

• We are looking for a reliable QAQC who will be responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of the quality management systems on construction site.

Responsibilities for QAQC Manager

• Design and implement an effective QA/QC management system on site
• Perform all daily inspection and test of the scope and character necessary to achieve the quality of construction required in the drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with all the site sub-contractors in organizing all non-destructive testing on site
• Coordinate with all relevant stakeholders on quality matters
• Distribute relevant QA/QC documentation to site subcontractors
• Verify that the quality related site activities are in accordance with the applicable codes and standards
• Set out the starting points of the floor and wall tiles and monitor the laying to specification.
• Perform a check of the quantities of materials used: block work, mortar reinforcements and prepare a daily report of the work progress.
• Participate in all site audits in liaison with the procurement team
• Coordinate all quality site inspections through the site QC officers
• Ensure all quality control documentations are compiled and up to date
• Control all nonconformance reports and undertake corrective action
• Complete site quality control directions and action corrective responses
• Monitor the implementation of approved site QC Plan
• Complete and coordinate the approval and verification of all site QC technical submissions before payments are made to sub-contractors
• Coordinate with the Project Manager on all quality issues
• Ensure safety is adhered to on site
• Manage and lead your team to enable them perform the necessary duties, including skills assessment and identification of training needs, implementing required processes and standards and setting and monitoring achievements of performance targets.
• Perform any other duties that may be assigned.
• Coordinate, direct and motivate construction workers and subcontractors

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Building Construction, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Architecture
• 5-10 years of experience in QAQC within Real Estate or Construction

• Able to engage with staff at all levels of the organisation and exercise sound judgement.
