    Coordinator, Sales Steering

    About The Job
    Purpose of Position

    • Coordinate sales efforts to maximize both volume and contribution levels in the export and import trades.

    Essential Function:

    • Daily review of overall bookings to ensure optimization of Area allocation and cost effective routings.
    • Commercializes equipment effectively by steering containers to equipment demand areas and depleting surplus areas.
    • Analyzes competitive information and statistical data.
    • Works in the Trade Management Department to establish new business opportunities and acceptable rates for customers.
    • Assist management in preparation of volume/revenue budgets and monitors performance per customer, trade etc.
    • Establishes and follows up on performance of focus and target accounts/commodities in liaison with sales team.
    • Performs Revenue Management activities such as: DnD collections and tariff adjustments, Local Revenue optimization, Pricing Analytics review.

    Job Specification:

    • Examines issues and problems effectively, generating possible solutions.

    Minimum Qualification
    Education:

    • University Degree in Business Administration/Foreign Trade or a related study in similar field.

    Experience:

    • 1 to 3 years experience in the Maritime Industry.

    Technical Knowledge:

    • English, Advance Level
    • Knowledge in the operational aspects of the transpiration industry, including shipping on vessels and ground transportation.
    • Knowledge in database management and Excel
    • Able to work well with others and follow guidelines
    • Positive attitude and team spirit
