    Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Programs Assistant

    To fulfill our goals, we are recruiting a DEI Programs Assistant who will be responsible for activities related to project management and support for the DEI function. 

    • They will report to the Director of Global Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. 
    • Updating the Global DEI Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) tracker
    • Liaising with the OKR owners for their input and progress towards DEI goals.
    • Organizing DEI products in Box.
    • Support in managing the People Resource Groups, including event management,scheduling, and communications.
    • Supporting in the management of DEI Councils including setting up update meetings with regional DEI council members/co-chairs; gathering feedback and managing logistics.
    • Developing, updating, and monitoring project trackers and templates for the key DEI programs such as: ELEVATE, Women ADVANCE, Supplier Diversity, DEI Speakers series, Equity in Programming Benchmarks, DEI comms such as the annual report.
    • Support in improving DEI processes and systems.
    • Gathering stories and offering support for DEI program participants—e.g ELEVATE Women ADVANCE.
    • In collaboration with comms team and the DEI Director, support in organizing the DEI virtual events; managing campaigns and updating DEI page on SharePoint.
    • Working with people analytics team to gather, analyze and present DEI data; updating DEI dashboards and use the insights to inform DEI programs.
    • Collaborate with the HR team in conducting Employee Engagement surveys.
    • Collaborate with the impact measurement team to integrate DEI into impact measurement and reporting.
    • Support DEI Director on other tasks as assigned. 

    Required Experience 

    • Bachelor’s degree in project management, Business administration or any related field
    • Between 3-5 years experience in related roles.
    • Demonstrate excellent project management skills: ability to manage and execute projects within timelines.
    • Ability to collaborate and work well with multiple stakeholders.
    • Organized, can handle administrative and logistical tasks with ease and attention to detail.
    • Possess excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to work well in a global, hybrid work and multicultural setting.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills—able to identify and solve for problems.
    • Self-starter, driven by results and takes initiative to innovate.
    • Analytical & data-driven: able to gather, analyze and interpret data; and make recommendations.
    • Excellent working with Excel, Spreadsheets and Smartsheet.
    • Able to build relationships with others.
    • Curious about the world; people and possibilities.
    • Previous experience in project management/admin would be highly preferred. 
    • Must have legal authorization to work in Ghana.
