About The Job

• Lycopodium is currently recruiting for an Earthworks Technician to join our growing Construction team in Ahafo North.

Position Summary:

• Reporting to the Special Field Engineer the Earthworks Technician will be responsible for performing site observations of earthworks, utility backfills, excavations, foundation construction and special inspections and testing as directed in accordance with Company’s compliance, Client, regulatory and contractual requirements.

The Tasks You'll Perform:

• Daily tasks include interacting with the Project Team, Contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Complete technical reports and test results in accordance with the documented procedures, standards, and specifications.
• Coordinate with Lead Field Engineer and team providing constant communication on the job.
• Be responsible for maintaining quality standards, i.e., be responsible for quality assurance and quality control testing of materials (e.g., soils, asphalt, aggregate, concrete).
