    Electrical Trainee

    Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates capable of undertaking an intensive one-year formal training programme in Overhead Lines, Cable Jointing, Substation Maintenance and General Electrical Technology at the ECG Training Centre, Tema.

    Successful applicants will be appointed as Senior Artisans for posting to ECG operational areas after their training.

    Qualification Required & Experience

    Applicants must:

    • Not be more than Thirty (23) years old by the end of December, 2014 ( A copy of applicant's birth certificate must be attached to the application)
    • Possess, as the highest certificate acquired, either the Electrical Installation Work-Advanced craft (Course "C") certificate, or the Electrical Engineering Technician part II Certificate
    • In addition to the above, show evidence of having successfully completed either the Electrical Installation Work Intermediate Craft (Course "B") or the Electrical Engineering Technicain Part I course
    • Possess the Basic Educational Certificate Examination (BECE) certificate
    • Pass an ECG in-house Entrance Examination and a selection Interview
    • Possession of Drivers' License is an added advantage
