Emergency Physician at Via Medica International Healthcare

The role of Emergency Physician is to provide management in the clinical setting and consultation service to patients with conditions applicable to the sub-specialty of Emergency Medicine and to educate, supervise and support the junior medical staff.

Provide first-line emergency and general medical care to patients. This includes but not limited to assessment, investigation, treatment and referral for ongoing non-inpatient care or, on consultation with consultant specialists, admission/transfer for inpatient care.

Qualifications:

• License to practice as a Medical Doctor in Ghana
• At least 5 years post-board clinical experience in a hospital
• Postgraduate residency program in emergency medicine
• Valid ACLS/ALS and ITLS/PHTLS or equivalent certificate in trauma life support
• Ghanaian candidates are required
