ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY

• We are looking for talented Front-end Developers. You will be responsible for building the ‘client-side’ web applications. You should be able to translate our clients company and customer needs into functional and appealing interactive applications.

Responsibilities

• Writing a scalable front-end platform that consists of multiple apps, which is deployed on multiple environments and has different themes and feature sets for different clients
• In charge of overseeing the latest processes and technology to build scalable, distributed, and fault-tolerant site/software systems.
• Browsing through huge genomic datasets and multi-gigabyte files, and visualizing that data from several different perspectives
• Developing platform management components for bioinformatics data
• Writing our own UI components
• Designing and reviewing code inclusive of efficient and reusable front-end infrastructure and components.

Skills and Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant front-end development experience with Angular React, Typescript, and CSS
• Expert knowledge of SEO performance optimization practices and techniques
• Have a good knowledge and hands-on experience with HTML5/CSS/JavaScript
• Hands-on experience with modern frameworks and a good grasp of architectural styles and implementation patterns
• A deep understanding of Git or similar version control systems.
• Successful experiences building complex web systems on modern technology.
• End-to-end testing experience (eg. Cypress, Browserstack)
• Knowledge of UX principles and human-centered design
• A degree in Computer Science or related field
