    Head of Language Services

    Responsibilities:

    • Devise and implement the strategy and work plan of Kabod Language Service(KIS)in collaboration with the team and Managing Director.
    • Supervise all projects related to translation and interpretation, natural language processing, localization and rental of interpretationequipment.
    • Contribute to knowledge management and talent development initiatives.
    • Coordinate programs such as The network og African Language Translators and Teachers (ALATT), NLP Africa Summit, Kabod Language Talk (KaLT) and African Translators and Interpreter Awards.
    • Manage the day-to-day work of the department in the light of worklead projections and within the available budgetary resources.

    Qualification: Degree in Translation or related field
    Work Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years
