Lecturer / Senior Lecturer in Investment and Banking (Ghana) - Re Advertisement at Botho University

The University is looking for suitable candidate to fill the following position for Ghana Campus.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Ability to inspire and motivate students.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with a good command of English.
• Good Organizational skills.
• Ability to coordinate and mentor projects and internship for students including liaison with local accounting institutions and Business industry.
• Maintain student records and execute various day to day administrative responsibilities involved with teaching.
• Continuously upgrade skills through self-study  and work with peers.
• Research and publishing.
• Be a constructive member of Botho University.

Qualifications and Skills

• A Ph.D or Master’s Degree in Accounting, Banking, Finance or Business with a professional qualification.
• A minimum of 2 years’ post qualification experience teaching at a tertiary level. 
• A Chartered Governance (CG) former Chartered Institute of Secretaries and Administrators (CISA), CIMA and ACCA qualification is an advantage.
• Experience working in the industry and commerce is required.
• Any professional qualification / certification in Risk Management will be an added advantage.
• Experience working in the industry is required.
• Possession of a teaching qualification such as a Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education (PGCHE), Post Graduate Diploma in Higher Education (PGDHE) or Masters in Higher Education or a Master of Philosophy in Education and Training (Mphil LLL), is an added advantage.

Skills and Competencies required:

• Must be a registered and qualified Assessor and Moderator.
• Must have 2 years of experience in programme / curriculum development.
•  2 years of experience at management and leadership level is an added advantage.
• A registered member of a professional accountancy body.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with a good command of English.
• Good Organizational skills.
• Continuously upgrade skills through self-study  and work with peers.
