Responsibilities And Duties

• Library collection development and management.
• Library circulation and reference services.
• Marketing and promoting access and usage of e-resources in Ghana campus.
• Faculty liaison.
• Electronic Resource Management.
• Carry out any other library related and institutional assignments.
• Archives administration and records management.

Qualifications And Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Library and Information Studies
• A minimum of 2 year's experience in University Education, Information literacy skills and library Management and Operations.
• Strong IT Background

Skills and Competencies required:

• Knowledge of cataloguing, classification, indexing, abstracting, preservation and conservation.
• Experience working in a team oriented and collaborative environment.
• strong skills in using Ms-Office, E-Library databases and Library Management Systems.
• Knowledge or exposure to E-Library databases like EBSCOhost, ProQuest.
• Customer Orientation.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with a good command of English.
• Good Organizational skills.
• Continuously upgrade skills through self-study and work with peers.
