About The Job

• Lycopodium is currently recruiting for a Local Engineer to join our growing Project team in Ahafo North.

Position Summary:

• Reporting to the Special Field Engineer the Local Engineer will be responsible for supporting the Engineering Team in order to produce solutions to technical problems.
• Checks on installation progress, quality of Contractor workmanship, monitors material use and provides technical checks to ensure compliance to Company, Client, regulatory and contractual requirements.

The Tasks You'll Perform:

• Calculating project costs and delivery timelines.
• Providing quality assurance for the projects
• Writing reports, giving presentations and meeting with clients and management.

The Expertise You'll Bring:

• Ability to use computers to produce and analyze designs.
• Strong knowledge and demonstrable experience in all aspects of Engineering.
• Collaborating with clients and other professionals.
• Generate specifications for parts.
