Plantation Manager at Millar Cameron

The Plantation Manager’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Project planning and development of the nucleus plantation
• Implementing Good Agricultural Practice on the plantation
• Overseeing and reviewing the out-grower program
• Working with the Sustainability Manager to ensure ISCC certification
• Overseeing the set up and operation of the processing factory

The successful Plantation Manager will have:

• Plantation development experience
• Senior management experience in Jatropha, Palm or Rubber plantations
• Strong out-grower program management skills
• Extensive understanding of certification processes for sustainability
• Previous experience managing a mill or factory
• Intercultural experience, ideally within Africa
