Plumbing Project Engineer at Doummar MEP Contracting Limited

Job Description

• Prepare detail layout plans for all drainage and water supply systems for all residential and office buildings.
• Perform regular inspection on all equipment’s and materials and assist in fabrication of same if required.
• Manage and perform tests on various materials and equipment’s and maintain knowledge on all product specifications and ensure adherence to all required standards.
• Collaborate with various teams to design and execute all requirements regarding plumbing related requirements.
• Assist to allocate appropriate CAD design for all activities and ensure compliance to all client timeframe.
• Evaluate all design drawings according to required quality regulations.
• Monitor installation and perform tests on various water and sewage lines for all residential and commercial buildings.
• Install various and commission pumps.
• Administer all plumbing work and provide certification to all contractor bills.
• Perform regular inspection al materials and works for all plumbing activities.
• Collaborate with all consultants and contractors for all plumbing associated work.

The Project Engineer (Electrical or Mechanical) manages the following teams:

• Senior Foreman
• Installers
• Supports during Testing and Commissioning
• The other Roles & Responsibilities of the Project Engineer (Electrical or Mechanical) include but are not limited to the following:
• Fully and thoroughly capable of working in a fast-paced environmen
• Ensure the mobilization of the proper resources at Site – Man / Machine / Material on time against the program.
• Overall monitoring of the progress of the site works.
• Maintaining and improve customer satisfaction through delivering our scope of work on site.
• Support in Post contract administration by ensuring end of month billing.
• Ensure cost effectiveness of all project related activities and to meet cost target, thereby proving himself on a sustained basis, as a top-notch Project Engineer professional
• Ensure all letters, queries from client / consultant are answered promptly and in a comprehensive manner
• Ensure Safety and welfare of his team members

Requirement/Skills

• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• Hands on experience in commercial high-rise building projects, hotels, etc.
• Hands on experience in water solar heating as well soil treatment systems.
• Decision maker
• Broad experience in leading and motivating teams
• Team player
• Minimum of 7 year working experience
