    Product Design Lecturers

    Background

The Product Design and Entrepreneurship programme of the AsanSka University College of Design and Technology came about as a result of the realisation of the fact that Ghana and the West African sub-region abound in many Consumer and Lifestyle business opportunities which are exclusive to the region. This situation exists, because of cultural and climatic influences; and is accordingly beyond the reach of the Industrial Giants of the West and the Asian Tigers, whose products the region traditionally depends on.

It is against this backdrop that the Product Design Programme of the University College seeks to train accomplished Designers who will turn out products and services which are in tune with the way of life of members of the enormous West African Market, and thereby help Ghana to take advantage of the multi-billion Cedi Industrial Potential that exists, but is as yet untapped.
