    Regional Business Development Manager, Surface Drilling Equipment

    • Engage and strengthen customer relationships, by a high degree of personal contact with customers.
    • Support the Epiroc Group’s vision by having a strong Customer-Value and a Customer-Care driven culture.
    • Live the Epiroc Group values “Innovation-Commitment-Collaboration” in both internal and external activities and relations.
    • High focus on successful introduction of new Smart and Automated products into market and product performance development in the Region.
    • Analysis of business areas within mining market, ensure that forward planning is maintained with regards to mining & construction activities and that we are one step ahead.
    • Competitor analysis in terms of market share and product development and new trends.
    • Have a clear vision on the current position of all Product Lines and segments, the future goal to achieve the strategy to follow through, including short and long-term action plans.
    • Growing Epiroc market-share with focus on the mining and quarry segment.
    • Optimizing the geographical coverage of the market by using channel strategy management and business partners in relevant areas and product segments.
    • Identify, seek and secure new opportunities, applications and customers.

    Reporting Line

    • Reports to Regional Business Line Manager, Surface Drilling Equipment

    Requirements

    Knowledge and Experience

    • The successful candidate should have a University Degree, preferably in Civil, Mining or Geology Engineering or similar through experience
    • Commercial and/or financial training is a merit
    • 5+ years management experience in a similar role
    • Has a good level of knowledge of the construction and mining industry especially in the Western African region.
    • Solid technical knowledge of Surface Drilling Equipment Products and their applications.
    • Fluent in English.
    • Very good financial understanding.

    Location of the position will be in Ghana.
