Research Technician at Aspire Food Group Ghana

The research technician will be part of the product development department and will assist the product development team both physically and intellectually in all product development activities, including but not limited to developing new products, feasibility testing, optimizing process flow and presenting verbal and written reports as well as supporting the sales and marketing team when necessary.

Tasks/duties?:

• Maintain neat and clean production laboratory area and ensure functionality of all equipment.
• Manage various laboratory equipment in an organised
• Design work instruction document for products.
• Prepare oral and written reports for all product development department activities.
• Develop and run various feasibility tests on new products.
• Coordinate with and support other departments when necessary.
• Follow written instructions and recipes.

Requisite Skills?:

• HND or above in Home Science, Catering or any other related course
• Good in Microsoft Office and G Suite programs
• Strong Excel skills
• Must be able to interpret written instructions and be responsive
• Must be vocal, assertive and speak up in the face of opposition
• Must be comfortable seeking support when necessary
• Diligent, punctual, hardworking and discrete
• Excellent communication skills; familiar with quick & responsive email communication
• Work under little supervision
• Ability to recognize systematic issues and improve processes
• Excellent record keeping, attention to detail, and documentation skills
• Must be able to troubleshoot to achieve organizational goals
• Working proficiency in spoken and written English
• Should be creative and innovative
