    Sales Manager (FX & FI)

    We are looking for an exceptional Sales Manager (FX) who is able to hit the ground running and provide platinum Managerial Sales Support to our Corporate & Retail Sales Teams.

    The role will be extremely varied and will require someone who is enthusiastic and resilient. This involves being assertive yet agile in establishing and strengthening business relationships.

    This role will be essential in executing our ambitious Sales Strategy, helping us increase our current client portfolio size and revenue lines exponentially, whilst looking after the Sales Teams and ensuring they are meeting set targets.

    We are looking for an executor who is passionate about increasing the company's bottom-line.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Selling all of the company’s FICC products to corporate clients
    • Executing FICC transactions with corporate institutions
    • Collating relevant information and data about fixed income and currency buy-side and sell-side of corporate clients
    • Liaising closely with the FICC teams for trade execution
    • Leading the sales teams in sourcing new leads, making contacts, onboarding them and building profitable ongoing relationships
    • Reviewing client orders to ensure accuracy, proper record keeping and conformance to regulations
    • Keeping abreast of market trends and sentiments to keep both clients and prospects well informed
    • Maintaining marketplace/trade knowledge and originate deals or leads
    • Actively taking an interest in learning about new products and approaches to selling them
    • Understanding the compliance and on-boarding process in detail
    • Analyzing financial data and developing effective strategies to reduce business costs and increase company profits
    • Attending trade shows and regular client meetings
    • Meeting and exceeding KPIs as set by your Line Manager
    • Attending and actively participating in team and company meetings
    • Perform ad hoc job-related duties as assigned

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

    • A degree holder in marketing or any other business related course
    • Minimum 7 years work experience managing a sales team
    • Experience preferably within a complex financial services organisation or similar
    • Experience dealing with the treasury department of a financial services organisation
    • Ability to be adept in negotiating business deals and making sound decisions that benefit the business
    • Keen interest in the financial markets
    • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
    • Results-driven with an ability to turn relationships into revenue
    • Naturally proactive when it comes to looking ahead, pre-empting and resolving issues
    • Exceptional organisational, planning, prioritization skills and the ability to work under pressure
    • Excellent IT Skills i.e. advanced Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel skills as well
    • Adheres to confidentiality
