    Site Supervisor - GHANA

    About the job

    • Regularly inspect the mining equipment and report daily to the Customer, the machine condition and all needed to be done ;
    • Train and supervise Customer mechanics, maintenance of mining equipment covered by the agreement and / or train the Customer trainers for this purpose ;
    • Support and assist the Customer's maintenance mechanics in fault finding, repair and troubleshooting of the covered machines;
    • Close collaboration with Training department to ensure a performed technical team ;
    • Close collaboration with Maintenance team and Production (good practices of operators assessment);
    • Support the Customer by providing technical reports.
    • Advice the Customer on repair needs, improvements and modifications to be done on the drilling equipment's to enhance the availability, performance or safety of the operators ;
    • Assist Customer personnel in the execution of parts rebuilt if possible ;
    • Make sure the right part stocked according to OEM recommendation and site condition ;
    • Compile information and send a weekly and monthly report to the management.
    • Managing the day-to-day activities of the technical & operators training activities.
    • Empowering trainers and internal technicians with skills to improve their confidence, product knowledge and skills
    • Certification of all Epiroc Technicians on site TL1 & TL2 on the required timeline
    • Conducting and reporting monthly performance reviews.
    • Provide technical support of the team in daily bases
    • Follow the evolution of the new product and be updated on the product knowledge and skills for our region
    • Participate on the commissioning of the new machines
    • Supporting the technical team on safety campaign, warranty issues & service news
    • Technical support if needed by traveling to all the region
    • To be allocated in different site based on the needs in the region

    Competence & Skills

    • University degree in Engineering and/or Mechanical Engineering equivalent
    • Has experience on field service and workshop specially on mining sector
    • Has experience on Epiroc equipment specially or equivalents
    • Fluency in English
    • Excellent communication skills on all levels
    • Ability to build strong and effective working relationships with customers and colleagues Self-motivated
    • Having astute safety awareness and comply with safety regulations of company and customer sites
