Purpose:

• The job holder is responsible for daily planning, organizing, and monitoring of projects; and supervising use of materials, staff, and sub-contractors on various project sites.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Liaises with the Site Engineer to develop daily project schedules for workers.
• Supervises and coordinates labour, materials and equipment on project sites to ensure efficiency.
• Oversees and supervises the work of subcontractors in accordance with specifications and designs
• Coordinates activities of all sub-contractors, and other stakeholders, ensuring that all activities are properly coordinated.
• Liaises with site engineer to ensure the timely availability of all resources for the works
• Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing HSE standards and procedures.
• Performs equipment, material, and routine site inspections and reports anomalies to Site Engineer.

Competencies:

• Knowledge of construction environment, standards, and procedures.
• Ability to interpret designs and drawings
• Experience supervising medium size teams.

Qualifications/Experience:

• A Degree or HND, preferably in Construction related fields from a recognized tertiary institution.
• Minimum three (3) years’ experience as a Site Supervisor.
