Who we are looking for.

We’re looking for an experienced and creative Social Media Specialist who is passionate about our mission of driving financial inclusion in Ghana. In this role, you will be responsible for the planning and execution of our local brand strategy and campaigns with a focus on digital marketing.

The role involves close collaboration across the business.

Responsibilities

• Social Media Strategist using social media for brand awareness and impressions.
• Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Google+, and other social media best practices
• Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics
• Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization.
• Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network.
• Experience with doing audience and buyer persona research.
• Good understanding of social media KPIs
• Familiarity with web design and publishing
• Excellent multi-tasking skills
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Team player
• Good time-management skills
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
• Implement and manage our social media strategy.
• Manage and oversee social media content.
• Measure the success of every social media campaign.

Required Skills And Competencies

• BSc degree in Marketing or a relevant field
• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Social Media Specialist or a similar role
• Experience in copywriting
• Experience in graphic designing and video editing would be an added advantage.
