About The Job

• Lycopodium is currently recruiting for an to join our growing Project team in Ahafo North.

Position Summary:

• Reporting to the Construction Manager-Plant/NPI the Superintendent – Structural, Mechanical & Piping (SMP) will be responsible for managing assigned projects, including overseeing field construction and installation operations, general safety, productivity, schedule, quality work, coordination with other superintendent and project leaders in compliance to Company, Client, regulatory and contractual requirements.

The Tasks You'll Perform:

• Coordinate and implement activities and any other resource necessary to assure a safe and quality execution.
• Identify welding certification, training, and experience appropriate for assignment scope.
• Adhere to and support the company’s Health, Safety & Environmental Policies.
• Support project and construction management with planning and utilization of proper means and methods for SMP activities.
• Oversee and drive a safe, documented work culture through EPCM/Contractor interaction on a daily basis.
• Assist with the daily Contractor Management, including work procedures, practices, and plans for the installation of the Structural, Mechanical & Piping equipment.
