    Teachers - 6 positions

    Ghana International School is seeking to recruit the following:

    •  Biology Teacher (IGCSE/A “Level)
    •  Physical Education Teacher
    •  Geography Teacher (IGCSE/A “Level)
    •  French Teacher (IGCSE/A “Level)
    •  History Teacher (IGCSE/A “Level)
    •  Key State 2 Teachers

    Qualification Required & Experience

    •  Applicants for the above teaching positions must have a Bachelor’s of education in the relevant subject area from an accredited and recognised university or
    •  A first degree with a Qualified Teacher Status and/or post-graduate teaching certification (PGCE/PGDE)

    Experience

    •  Must have a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in the relevant subject area at the academic level
    •  Experience in teaching the Cambridge IGCSE and A-Level is desirable
    •  Be competent in the use of ICT to deliver engaging lessons

    Knowledge, Skills and abilities

    •  A motivated individual with a keen interest in encouraging and inspiring students to learn and to excel
    •  An innovative and creative approach to providing an outstanding education

    •  The ability to inspire, challenge, support and empower students and colleagues towards excellence
    •  Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to establish good working relationships across the school community.
