Our client who provides Information Technology (IT) solutions require an experienced Technical Manager to join their team.
Reporting to the Chief Technical Officer, you will be primarily assisting and supporting the Chief Technical Officer to drive the company’s strategy on service offering to clients.
Responsibilities:
Works closely with the Service Delivery Controller to ensure effective delivery, monitoring, and management of the company’s Technical Projects and Service Level Agreements with clients and sub-contractors.
Design and Package of innovative technological solutions from the Club of Partner Original Equipment Manufacturers, to offer to new and existing clients.
Liaise with the sales team and provide support in the design of solutions and proposals for clients to increase company turnover and profitability.
Ensure timely receipt of client payments for completed projects.
Requirements:
Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering, Network Engineering, or any related field.
Professional certifications in Networking or Enterprise Systems (eg. CCNA), Project Management (PMP or PRINCE2) is mandatory.
Certification in ITIL, HP, Del, Lenovo system is an added advantage.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in the IT industry or similar and with not less than three (3) years in leadership and management role.
Must have experience in Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) Certification and relations.
Ability to understand market trends and have a strategic mindset to grow the business and solve problems.
Proficient understanding of server and desktop hardware, operating systems, Network Technologies, firewalls and load balancers, Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory (Design, Security, and Administration), Server virtualization, Knowledge of Messaging and Collaboration systems (MS Exchange, SharePoint, Archiving, Cisco Unified Communication, ITIL).
Excellent leadership, team management, organizational, interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication (written and verbal), result-oriented, and time management.
Knowledge in the use of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
