About The Protocols Team

The Protocols team is at the forefront of innovation and the foundation of ConsenSys. We drive and support the Ethereum ecosystem, enable companies around the world to successfully deploy and manage blockchains at scale, and power other products at ConsenSys (MetaMask, Infura, CodeFi). We are believers in contributing to the Ethereum community with our time (EIP-1559, The Merge), expertise, and products (Hyperledger Besu, Teku -the Ethereum 2.0 beacon chain client-, and ConsenSys Rollups). ConsenSys R&D is part of the Protocols Team where we have the opportunity for long-term thinking in the products we bring to market. Similar to our products, our team is also decentralized around the world. The Protocols team's expansive experience in building and researching Ethereum protocols provides a unique experience to new joiners to make a stamp on the Ethereum ecosystem from day one.

What You’ll Do

As a Technical Writer at ConsenSys you'll create technical documentation to help developers understand and use our tools. Have you ever thought, I wish more developers knew how to build on Web3 and I want to help guide them? If so, you are absolutely who we are looking for. If not, don’t worry, anyone who has experience creating technical content, is looking for an exciting new technology and an opportunity to grow should apply! This role is an opportunity to learn and improve, as part of a talented team, with plenty of challenges in a rapidly developing technology.

Would be great if you brought this to the role

• Established portfolio of developer content.
• Worked for or contributed to a company that provides tools for developers.
• A knowledge of or passion to learn about the new Web3 technology space.
• Comfortable operating in an Agile environment and dealing with uncertainty and ambiguity.
• Data oriented mindset; know how to measure performance and define strategies to improve based on both qualitative and quantitative analysis.
• Bonus points for:
  • Experience as a developer.
  • Fluent in different mediums: written content, video, podcasts.
  • Experience building with ConsenSys developer products.

The salary range for US-based candidates only will be determined throughout the interview process depending on experience and skills. Candidates should anticipate a base salary (not including bonus, equity or other benefits) of $USD65,000 - $USD168,000.
