Village Based Advisory Consultant at Ignitia

SCOPE OF WORK

• The role of the consultant is to support ignitia in operationalizing the agriprenuer model.
• Key tasks to be considered under this assignment include:
• Develop the concept of implementation of the VBA model.
• This would include, but not limited to, the criteria to consider in selecting youth agripreneurs, an ideal revenue sharing model based on ignitia pricing model, minimum subscriptions for each engaged VBA, other factors to consider to incentivise youth to be engaged as agripreneurs, marketing activities to be engaged in to drive traffic to the product, among others
• Clarify market segments for the VBA model innovation
• Perform needs assessment and develop a criteria for building the capacity of VBAs and ways of continually incentivising VBAs to continue demand aggregation
• Training needs of the VBAs including, farmer profiling and collecting payments

DELIVERABLES

• Presentation of key insights in the developed concept of implementation
• . Revised version of presentation slides submitted in MS-Powerpoint/Google Slides
• Developed concept of implementation of the VBA model, taking into account comments and insights from the presentation. Deliverable submitted as MS - Word document / Google Docs
• Proposed training manual for VBAs.
• Deliverable to be submitted in MS-Powerpoint/Google Slides. Please note: consultant will be provided if information of ignitia products and services in order to produce the manual

QUALIFICATION CRITERIA

Qualified consultant should demonstrate the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field. Master’s degree or higher in business or related fields will be an added advantage.
• Proven work experience in business modeling especially for digital services
• Excellent writing and reporting skills
• Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills.
• Fluent in English
