Water Balance Manager at Millar Cameron

The main responsibilities of the Water Balance Manager are the following:
In terms of irrigation:

•  Installation of irrigation systems (extensions of the farm, replantation areas, conversion program).
•  Follow up of the water supplies network with partnership of other concerned Departments (Administrative and Corporate Affairs…).
•  Carrying out the daily irrigation program on the field with optimization of irrigation energy and labor costs.
•  Maintenance and modernization of the network.
•  Follow-up of irrigation process team on the field.
•  Monitoring trials and tests in place (drip performance tests, issues links to soil water contents and soils permeability...) in partnership with Agronomist Department.
•  Animation, coordination and training of irrigation workers’ team.
•  Technical control of subcontracted works.
•  Reporting on irrigation.

In terms of drainage:

•  Controlling new networks construction on the field,
•  Monitoring drainage annual programs (renovation and maintenance) in partnership with Production Department with a focus on the productivity of the machines and workmanship,
•  Same for some external exit drainage networks shared with rice farms with partnership with Administrative and Corporate Affairs Department,
•  Technical control, reception of subcontracted works,
•  Reporting on drainage works.

In terms of drinking water:

•  All the operations linked to the water supply networks for workers on the farm.

In terms of pack houses water supply:

•  All the operations linked to pack houses water supply networks.
