    Zonal Sales Manager

    Role Purpose

    • To deliver zonal key performance indicators (revenue, reloads, distribution, sales) and grow market share.

    Key accountabilities and decision ownership

    • The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for the growth of revenue in the region. To this end, the Manager is responsible for implementing sales strategy leading to the conversion of airtime into reloads in the region.
    • Responsible for the distribution of Vodafone airtime in the Region. He/she is responsible for ensuring distributors, DSAs and Associate Distributors comply with Vodafone’s distribution key performance indicators.
    • Responsible for acquisitions (Mobile, VF Cash, Merchant & Fixed) and acquisition revenues from the Region. The Manager
    • is to ensure that subscriber growth targets for the region are met working with freelancers and retailers.
    • Responsible for identifying and developing the various channels for acquisitions. The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for the achievement of all VF Cash distribution KPIs (float & liquidity management and active agents).
    • Deliver training on product knowledge to agents prior to launch and then on a need- to basis thereafter.

    Scrum Master

    Role Purpose

    • The Scrum Master is a servant leader to the DevOps delivery team, coaching agile methods, and providing support and facilitation to increase velocity and team productivity.
    • This role is responsible for identifying risks, dependencies, and impediments, leading the team and business in finding a solution, coordinating with other teams and functional partners, and actively escalating when needed to ensure resolution.
    • This role is responsible for keeping a pulse on needs and insights from stakeholders and other initiatives, regularly communicating status, changes in direction, and relevant metrics to avoid misalignment and roadblocks

     

    Key accountabilities and decision ownership

    • Support the Product Owner in ensuring right-sized story writing, aligning priorities, and planning sprint iterations
    • Coach team members on Agile methods and technical practices (e.g., CI/CD, TDD, etc.)
    • Track and manage risks and issues of the delivery team
    • Track and report on current status of all team members and the delivery
    • Facilitating key agile ceremonies, such as daily stand-ups, demos, and retrospectives
    • Monitor and optimize agile processes and practices
    • Promote continuous improvement through retrospectives and team learning
    • Coordinate with other delivery teams, stakeholders, and partners to manage risks, interdependencies, and impediments to the team
    • To drive agile transformation and guide the squad through its agile journey and maturity
    • Define and refine the squad agile principles, practices, standards and ceremonies, according to both best practice and enterprise goals
    • Identify risks, dependencies, and impediments, leading the team and business in finding a solution, coordinating with other teams and functional partners, and actively escalating when needed to ensure resolution

    Technical and professional qualifications

    • Experience of coordinating multiple programmes or activities
    • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field
    • Three to five years of work experience as Scrum Master or Product Owner with agile teams
    • Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), SAFe Certified Scrum Master or similar
    • Experience working with agile methodologies, such as Scrum, Kanban, XP, TDD, and BDD

    Business Risk & Continuity Specialist

    Description

    • The selected candidate will be reporting to the Business Risk and Continuity Manager.
    • This position is responsible for developing and coordinating Business Risk Management activities.
    • It has responsibilities for Business Continuity and Crises Management within Vodafone Ghana and supports the compliance programme, supervision of due diligence processes and review of risk associated with new products and services for Vodafone Ghana.


    Job Responsibility

    • Manage the business recovery centre, taking into consideration various work streams and alternative CMT communication channels
    • Continuously update the Business Impact Analysis for various functions to ensure they are fit-for-purpose and promote internal ownership of all assigned roles.
    • Deliver the relevant training to all staff and contractors with specific Business Continuity responsibilities  
    • Plan and coordinate at least one live and two table top simulation exercises a year involving all critical business units
    • Document the results of all tests and exercises and identify and recommend enhancements to the Business Continuity Plans and procedures. 
    • Provide an on-call support for any emergency which may require activation of all or part of the Business Continuity Plans
    • Ensure that all technical components of the Business Continuity Plans are successfully tested on an annual bases or whenever significant changes are made to those components.
    • Document and update Incident Response Management Plans for the various functions to ensure they are fit for purpose.
    • Conduct BCCM awareness program across the business
    • Maintain BCCM risk register
    • Manage the BCCM Steering Committee activities


    Crises Management

    • Provide critical support to the CMT during crises and ensure all needed tools and facilities are updated and ready for used in the event of crises.
    • Act as liaison between the Crisis Management Team and the Business Continuity teams in the event that the Vodafone Ghana CMAP is activated.
    • Agree with stakeholders, with supervision from line manager, on the identified risks and the approach to managing same. 
    • Ensure day-to-day information sharing on all major network changes/activities that could lead to a crises situation and proposed mitigation measures
    • Prepare and agree with line manager, the crises management protocols for all projects and events  


    Due Diligence

    • Conduct due diligence review of all new supplier requests. SLA 3 working days
    • Maintain an up to date PEP register and update all stakeholders monthly
    • Generate reports on due diligence requests and share with all stakeholders

     

    Governance and Reporting

    • Preparation of Business Risk and Continuity  reports
    • Monitor deliverables of projects and, where necessary and with the help of the project teams and external parties, conduct tests to determine the effectiveness of the implemented controls.
    • Support audits and ensure zero non complaints rating for Group and local BCM audits 
       

    Core competences, knowledge and experience

    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
    • Experience in Enterprise Risk Management
    • Experience in audit and finance
    • Ample knowledge of security and crises management 
    • Excellent writing ten and oral skills
    • Relevant degree or its equivalent 


    Must have technical / professional qualifications:

    • Minimum 2 years’ experience and training in Enterprise Risk methodology
    • Good appreciation of Business Continuity and Crisis Management
    • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint 
    • Good understanding of telecoms business processes and internal controls
    • Ability to adapt to change
    • Excellent written and oral skills
