    Mobile Performance Analyst

    Role purpose

    • The Mobile Performance Analyst is the analytical backbone of all the Revenue Reporting within the Regions.
    • The Performance analyst is responsible for analysing the revenue performance of existing products & consumer segments across regions. 
    • The performance analyst will be the custodian of the Revenue related reports and other key performance reports which will cover all activities across the segments, product and other performance indicators in the regions.
    • Overall, the output of this role should influence decision making across the business and help in creating tangible (revenue) value.
    • Revenue forecast from weekly performance review and identifying any potential variances for early remedial action
    • Apply geo-marketing studies in performing 2G/3G/4G rollout to improve network coverage and capacity.
    • Provide commercial support to the regions.
    • Develop new innovative solutions to automate daily workflow & increase team productivity.

    Key accountabilities and decision ownership

    • Monitor/Analyse and report revenue and consumer KPIs on a daily/weekly/monthly basis and track trends. (all legs of service revenue- outgoing and incoming – ARPU, MOU, PPM, PPMB, Daily RGS, 30 days RGS, Reloads
    • Be abreast of drivers and insights behind revenue and customer performance and support the regions with insights  
    • Continuous engagement with the Regional sales team in performing geo-marketing studies in identifying and evaluating commercial areas for rollout.
    • Monitor/Analyse and report rollout site revenues and consumer KPIs on a daily/weekly/monthly basis and track trends.
    • Track regional performance against budget, both overall and within channels and segments and provide recommendations as necessary for performance improvement.
    • Be the Commercial SPOC in Managing and handling network coverage complaints. Ensure that coverage complaints are handled efficiently and profitably
    • Revenues by Segments, Products and Channels and develop understanding of the revenue performance drivers in each area and recommend areas for performance improvements.
    • Maintain effective working relationships with internal and external suppliers and with customers.

    Core competencies, knowledge and experience

    • Excellent commercial acumen and ability to identify and solve varied business problems 
    • Advanced MS Excel with excellent modelling skills (working knowledge of Macros, visual basic or any programming language will be a real advantage) 
    • Outstanding knowledge of database systems and report management software applications
    • Excellent Proficiency in the use of Power BI, Tableau, SQL &  MS PowerPoint
    • Experienced in manipulating large and complex data and deducing intelligence for management decision making
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills to ensure credibility with stakeholders

    Must have technical / professional qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in statistics, finance, or related course
    • Advanced competence with Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel, PowerPoint; Experience with Analytics tools (e.g. SQL, Tableau and Power BI); 
    • Strong commercial acumen
    • Analytical thinking and sound decision-making skills
    • Stakeholder management ability, especially at Leadership level
    • Must have at least 2 years’ experience in a commercial role

    Fixed Business Development Manager

    Role Purpose

    • To execute the Fixed broadband Sales strategy process in assigned region whilst ensuring and maintaining positive revenue growth year on year.
    • To enable achievement of all targets through monitoring, tracking and ownership of all sales through to activation.
    • To act as a Point of Contact within the Commercial Function to notify of the bigger team of all market dynamics within territory of operation.
    • It's equally important to drive team to build knowledge and understanding of all Vodafone Fixed products and commissions policies as well as health and safety standards.
    •  You are regarded as the “eye” of Fixed Business within the region.

    Key Accountabilities

    • Motivate team to reduce Fixed agent attrition and drive efficiency
    • Provide 2nd Line support to ZMs and sales agents by liaising with key stakeholders
    • Prepare and ensure timely  Fixed sales opportunities for sales
    • Demonstrates a strong ability to analyze and solve problems in order to gives appropriate feedback to team and management. 
    • Acting to solve discovered problems/issues in line with set processes and procedures.
    • Escalating discovered problems/issues in line with set processes and procedures.
    • Provides accurate and up to date information on a regular basis to keep team and managers informed of market dynamics 
    • Recommends and executes improvement actions to processes and procedures in line with Vodafone’s continuous improvement 
    • Improve overall team function capability and effectiveness
    • Has a detailed and working knowledge of all relevant technologies, products, services or processes.

    Core competencies, knowledge, and experience

    • Degree or Masters in Marketing or any related field 
    • 2 – 5 years Telecoms experience with specialisation in any sales area
    • Excellent computer knowledge.
    • Strong communication and decision making skills – ability to balance conflicting interests.
    • Proactive individuals with a flexible and adaptable approach to their work and a proven track record demonstrating that they’re a team player, strong influence and relationship management skills, and, and customer centric.
    • A working Knowledge of Vodafone products and services. 
    • Awareness of Vodafone’s network and support systems (e.g. Billing & payment methods, reporting and service management) 
    • Ability to communicate effectively to technical and non-technical customers.
    • Must be able to multi-task.

    Regional Sales Manager

    Role purpose

    • To deliver zonal key performance indicators (revenue, reloads, distribution, sales) and grow market share.

    Key accountabilities and decision ownership

    • The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for the growth of revenue in the region. To this end, the Manager is responsible for implementing sales strategy leading to the conversion of airtime into reloads in the region.
    • Responsible for the distribution of Vodafone airtime in the Region. He/she is responsible for ensuring distributors, DSAs and Associate Distributors comply with Vodafone’s distribution key performance indicators.
    • Responsible for acquisitions (Mobile, VF Cash, SOHO & Fixed) and acquisition revenues from the Region. The Manager is to ensure that subscriber growth targets for the region are met working with freelancers and retailers.
    • Responsible for identifying and developing the various channels for acquisitions. The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for the achievement of all VF Cash distribution KPIs (float & liquidity management and active agents).
    • Deliver training on product knowledge to agents prior to launch and then on a need-to basis thereafter.

    Core competencies, knowledge and experience

    • Excellent Communication, Facilitation and presentation Skills.
    • Must be able to work independently, effectively prioritize, plan and execute work activities successfully.
    • Trustworthy, professional and reliable when dealing with confidential information.
    • Must have a valid Driver's License and be willing to work in any part of the Country and be able to adapt rapidly to the assigned regions.

    Technical / professional qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, commerce, Finance, marketing or other related subjects.
    • 3 or more years of experience sales and Distribution jobs or other related fields.
