Key Responsibilities

• Supervise local artisans to construct aprons, standpipes and permanent hand washing stations and other assigned WASH facilities.
• Assess construction materials to determine its suitability for the work and determine the appropriate mix ratio.
• Facilitate the installation of hand pumps and submersible pumps and its accessories.
• Build capacity of local artisans, area mechanics and pump maintenance volunteers through training and coaching.
• Ensure that required quantities of materials such as HDPE pipes and fittings requested are utilized on the field and the remaining returned to stores
• Facilitate communication between Supervisor and beneficiary communities or institution to ensure that targets are met.
• Support in the implementation of innovative designs and technologies which will be introduced
• Ensure implementation of Audit and Risk Assessment recommendations in WASH projects and their impact areas within operational areas.
• Facilitate and report (monthly, quarterly, semi-annually and annually) on WASH activities implemented.
• Ensure that WV vehicle and other equipment are maintained are used efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Purpose of the position:

Provide administrative and coordination support to the security Guards so to ensure effective implementation of the security function.

• Provide support and coordination to the Security Guards and ensure the correct record keeping and inspection/screening of all vehicles, visitors and goods that enter and/ or leave the premises and ensure compliance of security procedures in the office as per the Organizational policies. 20%
• Provide support, coordination and conduct security orientation and/or briefings for visitors as requested and in addition conduct periodic security risk assessments in the office as may be requested by the HEA& Security Manager 20%
• Keep a log of all security incidences and coordinate the follow-up as directed by the Security Manager 10%
• Supervise and monitor the movement of all vehicles that enter and leave the World Vision Ghana compound- organization vehicles, staff private vehicles and visitors’ vehicles. 10%
• Coordinate and provide adequate security during National programmes at the office. Coordinate and screen visitors that enter the office. 10%
• Monitor and supervise Security Guards to provide effective night/day guard services within WV Ghana premises. 10%
• Submit routine and monthly reports to the HEA and Security Manager. 10%
• Ensure safe keeping of all duplicate keys and other classified documents under the Security and ensure the overall safety of the property in the office. 10% °
