    Consular Associate (Open to USEFMs Only)

    About The Job
    Duties:

    • Under the direct supervision of the Consular Officer, the Consular Associate is assigned a wide range of responsibilities in the American Citizen Services (ACS) Unit, Nonimmigrant Visa (NIV) Unit, Immigrant Visa Unit, and Fraud Prevention Unit (FPU).  
    • The jobholder provides consular services to U.S. citizens, conducts non-adjudicatory visa processing, and assists in investigation and validation studies.  
    • Incumbent also handles correspondence with the public, attorneys, U.S. and host governments, Congress, and other parties.  
    • Must be able to secure and maintain a Secret level security clearance.

    Qualifications and Evaluations
    Experience:

    • Minimum of two years of office administrative experience is required.  

    Education Requirements:

    • Completion of High School is required. 

    Evaluations;
    Language:  

    • Fluency in English (Reading, Speaking and writing is required) (Language proficiency may be tested).

    Qualifications:

    • All applicants under consideration will be required to pass medical and security certifications.

    Agency Benefits:

    Information Management Assistant - Open to USEFMs Only

    About The Job
    Duties:

    • The Information Management Assistant's (IMA) primary function is to provide systems administration support to users in the Controlled Access Areas (CAA) of the Embassy. 
    • Regular duties mirror that of the Information Management Specialist (IMS). Although this position does not manage personnel, s/he backs up the IMS in IPC. 
    • This is a non-supervisory position and is supervised by the Information Programs Officer.   

    Qualifications and Evaluations
    Requirements:

    • A minimum of two years’ experience working in a customer service and /or IT related field. This could include working in an IT office, help desk, customer service desk, administrative management and/or inventory management.

    Education Requirements:

    • Two years of college/university studies in general studies is required.

    Evaluations:

    • Language:  High degree of proficiency in English in both the written and spoken language is required. This may be tested.

    Qualifications:

    • All applicants under consideration will be required to pass medical and security certifications.

    Assistant Community Liaison Office Coordinator

    About The Job
    Duties

    • The Assistant Community Liaison Coordinator (A/CLO) fully assists the CLO Coordinator in developing and managing a program based on community demographics and post-specific needs.
    • He/ She assists in all eight areas of CLO responsibilities as well as providing clerical and administrative support. 
    • The A/CLO identifies needs within the post community and responds with effective programming, information and resources and referrals and provides orientation and information of interest to the Embassy community. 
    • Also he/she is responsible for assisting CLO with planning, organizing and coordinating CLO events and activities. 
    • A/CLO works with CLO Coordinator to enhance post morale and maintain/improve quality of life for all community members. 
    • This is a non-supervisory position, and is directly supervised by the CLO.

    Qualifications and Evaluations
    Experience:  

    • Two years professional work experience in an environment that requires problem solving and administrative skills is required.
    • Customer service experience working with a diverse and complex client base is required

    Education Requirements:

    • Completion of High School is required

    Language:  

    • Fluent English speaking/reading/written is required. This may be tested.

    Skills and Abilities: 

    • Standard knowledge of Microsoft Office programs. 
    • Good interpersonal skills to work with people of diverse cultures and interests. 
    • Ability to work flexible hours. 
    • Must be able to obtain a Top Secret Security Clearance.

    Community Liaison Office Coordinator - Open to USEFMs Only

    About The Job
    Duties

    • The CLO is responsible for developing and managing a program based on community demographics and post-specific needs. 
    • Development and implementation of the program has direct impact on post morale and affects overall work performance, productivity, retention, community spirit, and individual and family well-being in a foreign environment. 
    • The CLO develops evaluation criteria and conducts periodic surveys to assess program efficacy. 
    • Based on analysis of formal and informal surveys, the CLO develops and implements a long-range program plan that outlines goals to maintain and enhance morale at post.

    Qualifications and Evaluations
    Experience:

    • Minimum of three years of professional work experience required.

    Education Requirements:

    • Completion of secondary school is required.

    Language:  

    • Good working knowledge of English in reading, writing and speaking is required. This may be tested.

    Qualifications:
