    Finance & Admin Officer (9 Months Contract)

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Prepare monthly financial and management reports, including weekly, monthly, and quarterly payment schedules.
    • Post all payments and issued cheques on the system and manage suppliers and customers’ ledgers.
    • Prepare fee notes, deposit request notes, tax invoices, and issue payment receipts.
    • Carry out monthly bank reconciliations and prepare the monthly VAT schedule for the Auditor’s review.
    • Liaise with the Kenya Revenue Authority on tax issues and ensure filing of the managing partner’s income tax returns on I-tax.
    • Manage all insurance policies and office assets and ensure the security of the firm’s premises and property.
    • Act as the firm’s bank agent, perform any other duties requested by the Managing Partner, and manage office opening and closing.

    Qualifications:

    • Must have a relevant bachelor’s in Finance or any other related field.
    • Proficient in using financial software and tools.

    Senior Accountant (Hospitality)

    The successful candidate will be responsible for managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling financial records, preparing financial statements, and supporting strategic decision-making verification of the accuracy of financial data, analyzing and ensuring financial data is recorded in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Generate invoices, post payments, reconcile accounts, investigate billing discrepancies, and distribute customer statements and ageing reports.
    • Analyze creditworthiness, monitor aging reports, follow up on overdue accounts, and implement credit control policies and procedures.
    • Process vendor invoices, verify accuracy, maintain vendor records, reconcile statements, and ensure timely payments.
    • Handle tax filings (VAT, PAYE, withholding tax), ensure timely remittance, stay updated on tax laws, and assist in tax audits.
    • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, reconcile bank and general ledger accounts, and oversee cash flow management.
    • Implement and maintain internal controls, ensure compliance with accounting practices, and collaborate with auditors and regulatory bodies.
    • Work with sales, customer service, and other teams to resolve customer issues, manage credit terms, and assist with month-end closing procedures.

    Business Development Executive

    This primarily involves developing and implementing strategies for market penetration into new markets, strengthening the company’s presence in existing markets and maximize revenues in order to thrive against competitors

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide strategic direction and leadership in the business expansion in Kenya.
    • Manage the execution of GTM strategy for the Kenya business: Design and implement comprehensive marketing strategies individually tailored for all products in the portfolio suite.
    • Work closely with the Strategy and Business Expansion Department to analyse competitive data on new markets, potential customers, competitors and market segments to gain insight into current and future market opportunities within Kenya.
    • Identify partnership opportunities along the technology value chain for new business development; and lead the execution from initiating contacts, securing appointments, developing proposals, making presentations and negotiating business deal points to contract completion.
    • Partner with OEMs and product development teams in developing customized solutions in line with company and client requirements to ensure that the client’s customized solutions are delivered and serviced.
    • Ensure that Service Level Agreements are prepared in collaboration with other team leads in line with business requirements with the aim of achieving operational efficiency and timeliness in products and services delivery.
    • Plan and execute sales and marketing operations in line with the company budget and growth plans so as to achieve the set revenue targets for each period.

    Qualifications:

    Junior Accountant

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Proper recording of accounts receivable, revenue distribution, depreciation, cost, property, and operating expenses, and insurance records.
    • Review and monitor company expenditure to ensure company finances are properly applied.
    • Entering financial data such as accruals, deferrals, reclassifications, and interdepartmental entries into the ledger on a monthly basis, as well as preparing reports.
