About The Job

• We are looking for a dynamic Project Manager to join the Ghana Team. 

Job description:

• The Project Manager will be responsible for assigned projects and ensure they are delivered within the agreed timelines and lead/manage the Projects resources (internal and contracted) to deliver projects and exceed the project success criteria. 
• The Project Manager will also be responsible for the quality, health & safety and environmental impact of the project and manage Project Supervisors and Quality Assurance Engineers to deliver assigned projects.

Role Responsibilities
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Overall day-to-day management of the project activities of the company.
• Budget & time- Delivery of programmes and projects on time and to budget.
• Quality- Management of Project Quality Plan to ensure a systematic methodology for verifying all Quality Control related activities throughout the project including the responsibility for the management and co-ordination of all project specifications
• Risk Management & Scope- Definition and management of project scope from establishing customer requirements, designing the solution, determining the equipment and contractor requirements and managing variations as they arise
• Resource Management- Management of all materials, manpower and subcontractors required for the execution of the project. 
• The project manager has full or partial responsibility of selection, sourcing and scheduling of materials and sub-contracted services in line with the project schedule
• Project Management Process- Projects are to be executed in line with the defined Helios Towers Project Management processes. 
• The Project Manager is responsible to ensure that all databases, templates & reporting are kept up to date in a timely and accurate fashion in accordance with the company requirements.
• Continuous Improvement- Identify opportunities for improvement through structured project reviews and work with the Group and OpCo project management teams to improve process, quality and safety standards.
• Contract Duration – 1 Year

Requirements for the Role
To succeed in the role, you will be/will have:

• Educated to degree level/equivalent in Project Management, Civil, Electrical Engineering or related fields.
• Minimum 10 years’ relevant experience in management of Project Management
• Minimum 5 years’ management experience
• Experience working in a large organisation/listed organisation.
• Project Management Professional Membership

About The Job

Job Description:

• Coordinate and supervise project quality plan and ensure a systematic methodology for verifying all quality controls related activities and ensure they are adhered to throughout the project life cycle.
• Ensure the project scope is accurately reflected in the Project Design Pack by taking key site information (Tower, Power, Layout) and approving a design pack, inclusive of Bill of Materials & Bill of Quantities, which can be executed by subcontractors.
• Ensure that the design pack conforms to the HT Technical Specifications, HT Installation Manual and customer requirements.
• Own and execute Quality Control activities to ensure final product meets the quality standards defined in the HT Installation Manual.
• Responsible for the execution of the Quality assurance review of both HT works and works undertaken by the client on HT sites.
• Ensure As Built documentation from Sub-Contractors & Clients are complete and accurate.
• Train Sub-contractors in the HT Installation Standards and Quality Assurance Processes
• Act as the main point of contact (POC) for appointed sub-contractors onsite ensuring the receipt of regular progress reports and scheduling inspection, test & commissioning visits to site.
• Arrange access to site in line with the project delivery schedule and contracted dates.
• Maintain Sub-Contractor quality performance data. Identify potential risks and issues and escalate them within the HT projects organisation.
• Manage the closure of snags and incomplete works identified during the QA process.
• Take a risk management approach to identify and manage opportunities and risks that maximize the potential of successfully achieving the project success criteria. Project Engineer will be responsible for the escalation of project risks and issues to the Project Supervisor and Project Manager.
• Familiar with proper installation procedures for power infrastructure and reticulation at Build To Suit sites.
• Ensure all electrical compliance standards and Specifications are met.
• Reading and interpreting design schematics to ensure the proper installation of electrical systems. 
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting system issues and equipment malfunctions.
• Have knowledge in telecom site electrical systems – OSS, RMS, AC, DC and other alarm systems, hybrid Automation. 
• Understand the operations of a diesel generator and ATS system.

Requirements for the Role

• Educated to degree level/equivalent in Civil, Electrical Engineering or related fields.
• Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in Project Quality Assurance
• Experience working in a large organisation/listed organisation.
• Professional Membership - Ghana Institute of Engineers, IPMP, CIPM, PMI and related professional bodies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Willingness to travel due to business needs

About The Job

• We are looking for a dynamic Project Intern to join the Ghana Team. 

Job description:

• The Project Intern will support the Project Manager with the day-to-day activities of key Projects with key focus on data processing, document storage and data analysis.

Role Responsibilities:
As a Project Intern, you will be required to:

• Document critical project data
• Identify data gaps
• Record key contractual terms
• Process contractual data into a centralise database
• Store relevant documents into organised files
• Track project progress and report on key project KPI’s/milestones
• Work closely with the Project Manager to successfully complete the project assigned and may also support with any other business relating to the Projects Department.
• Training will be provided with an introductory overview of the key project and an induction period to familiarise the Projects Intern with the key project steps, processes and targets.
• Initial internship duration is 6 months.
