    Field Engineer - Mechanical

    About The Job

    • Lycopodium is currently recruiting for a Field Engineer- Mechanical to join our growing Project Engineering team in Ahafo North. 

    Summary:

    • Direct the daily work procedures, practices, and plans of the Field works to ensure deliverables meet a high-level of accuracy.
    • Develop and contribute to the delivery of improvement initiatives within the Project Team which support business’ continuous improvement.
    • Maximise the productivity and efficiency of the team by planning, scheduling and the appropriate allocation of all resources to ensure deliverables to the Project 
    • Reporting to the Specialist Field Engineering Manager the Field Engineer - Mechanical will be responsible for overseeing and directing the designated disciplines through Engineering initiatives ensuring compliance to Company, Client, regulatory and contractual requirements.

    The tasks you'll perform:

    • Ensuring that all the site Field Engineering services are up to a high standard in line with Company, Client, regulatory and contractual requirements. 
    • Manage the various work procedures, practices, and plans of the Project Engineering teams to ensure deliverables are met to a high-level of accuracy. 
    • Provide specialist advice and act as the primary contact for all project technical support, liaise with the engineering and construction team to resolve issues and ensure deliverables are met.

    Infrastructure Supervisor

    About The Job

    • Lycopodium is currently recruiting for a Infrastructure Supervisor to join our growing Construction team in Ahafo North. 

    Summary:

    • Assist with the daily work procedures, practices, and plans of the construction works team to ensure deliverables are met to a high-level of accuracy.
    • Enforcing building and safety regulations, notifying proper maintenance personnel when facility problems arise and communicating to staff and patrons through communication systems.
    • Providing clear and complete documentation of all activities within facilities.
    • Reporting to the Construction Manager the Infrastructure Supervisor will be responsible for building and maintaining every part of the buildings and grounds where they operate; managing employees
    • Coordinating schedules

    Cost- Controller

    About The Job 

    • Lycopodium is currently recruiting for a Cost Controller to join our growing Project Services team in Yamfo, Ahafo North. 

    Summary:

    • Leverage your budgeting and forecasting expertise
    • Help enable Project performance
    • Reporting to the Project Cost Manager the Cost Controller will be responsible for assisting the Lead Project Controller in performing accurate, effective, and timely control of Project costs and accounting functions to produce deliverable in line with Client’s and Project’s standard requirements 

    The tasks you'll perform:

    • Assist in monitoring Project performance including costs, progress against schedule and internal reviews to provide a transparent assessment of critical project performances.
    • Assist in ensuring all the budgets; forecasts and cost commitments are produced efficiently to a high standard in line with Company, Client, and regulatory requirements.
    • Assist evaluating project progress to ensure that it is meeting budgetary and deadline objectives.
    • Recognise progress concerns and report immediately to the Project Managers to ensure projects are completed within both budgetary and schedule constraints.
    • Assist in collating project cost reporting requirements in accordance with company and Client standards to a high level of accuracy and professionalism. 
    • Assist with the creation, implementation and maintenance of Project Control Procedures and Processes, in particular cost control.

    • Educate and promote health and safety (H&S) culture that will mitigate the risk of injury.

    Planner

    About The Job

    • Lycopodium is currently recruiting for a Planner to join our growing Project Services team in Yamfo, Ahafo North. 

    Summary:

    • Assist in preparing Project schedules to a high standard of accuracy and professionalism.
    • Assist with designated project schedules and provide timely updates to relevant stakeholders.
    • Assist in establishing Project schedules including resourcing, logic sequence and duration of each phase.
    • Reporting to the Project Controls Manager the Planner will be responsible for assisting in executing and monitoring Project schedules to ensure Projects are professionally delivered in line with Project, Client and Company requirements.

    The tasks you'll perform:

    • Assist in conducting periodic reviews of the Project Master Schedule baseline will be the forum for the Project team to report and review project progress. Contractual progress performance will be tracked and reported against the Project Master Schedule baseline. 
    • Assist in evaluating project progress to ensure that it is meeting budgetary and deadline objectives. Recognise, progress concerns and report immediately to the Project Managers to ensure projects are completed within both budgetary and schedule constraints.
    • Co-ordinate progress meetings with key stakeholders and communicate any issues or concerns.
    • Update and provide coordination of the various detailed sub-schedules from other contractors and consultants at regular intervals.

    SMP(Structural, Mechanical & Piping) Supervisor

    About The Job

    • Lycopodium is currently recruiting for a SMP (Structural, Mechanical & Piping) Supervisor to join our growing Project team in Ahafo North. 

    Summary:

    • Assist and ensure all daily work procedures, practices, and plans of the structural, mechanical & piping (SMP) works Contractor are met to a high-level of accuracy.
    • Provide specialist advice in designated areas of expertise.
    • Document all deliverables and targets as per the Construction Schedule.
    • Reporting to the:  Construction Manager – Plant/NPI the SMP (Structural, Mechanical & Piping) Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the Contractor for the installation of all structural, mechanical & piping (SMP) components on site in compliance with Company, Client, regulatory and contractual requirements.

    The tasks you'll perform:

    • Ensure relevant field inspection checklists are completed and signed in conjunction with the EPCM requirements.
    • Liaise with the SMP Contractor and EPCM Engineering Team regarding technical queries, inspections, project scheduling and coordinating deliveries.
    • Identify and communicate to appropriate personnel any issues or incidents during Construction to promote a safe working environment on site.

    • Oversee the SMP Construction Contractor.
    • Process material take-offs.
    • Supervise and control designated Contractor project works for all SMP duties.
    • Organize project testing requirements.

    Concrete Supervisor

    About The Job 

    • Lycopodium is currently recruiting for a Concrete Supervisor to join our growing Construction team in Ahafo North. 

    Summary:

    • Provide specialist advice in designated areas of expertise.
    • Prepare work schedules for concrete workers, estimate the amount of labour and materials required for concrete construction projects
    • Consult blueprints and drawings to ensure accuracy
    • Reporting to the Concrete Superintendent the Concrete Supervisor will supervise the work of concrete laborers responsible for preparing, placing, finishing, and curing concrete in compliance to Company, Client regulatory and contractual requirements.

    The tasks you'll perform:

    • Assist in ensuring that the daily operation of the concrete team is aligned with the Company, Client, regulatory and contractual requirements.
    • Assist in maximizing the productivity and efficiency of the team by planning, scheduling and the appropriate allocation of all resources to ensure deliverables are met. 
    • Assist in managing the quality of output produced from the teams to ensure deliverables are met to high-level of accuracy and in accordance with Project, Client and regulatory standards. 
    • Assist the Superintendent by providing input for the compilation and submission of the project progress report monthly or as required by the contract.

    The expertise you'll bring:

    • Perform the short-term schedule and activities of the team which includes review of the concrete. designs, assessment of the quality of the equipment, directing construction staff daily activities, and monitoring project progress.
    • Monitoring contractors’ progress, contract schedule to ensure key milestones are being achieved.
    • Report immediately (or as described in the applicable project plan) with the Construction Manager on matters that might affect the project goals.
    • Contribute to weekly Client meetings and provide updates and feedback with regards to the construction deliverables.
    • Communicate with the Superintendent and provide weekly reports, updates, and feedbacks with regards to the construction to ensure productivity is in line with schedule and time constraints.
