    Internal Auditor- West Africa

    About The Job
    Position Summary:

    • You will support the West African market in planning, monitoring, evaluating and improving M-KOPA’s internal control environment by reviewing and assessing the key risks associated with all aspects of the Company’s processes and providing practical recommendations to mitigate against the same.
    • You will report to the Senior Internal Auditor.

    Responsibilities:

    • You will assist in the planning, scoping, and execution of internal audits in accordance with the annual audit plan and risk assessment process
    • You will conduct interviews, document reviews and other procedures to gather information and assess the effectiveness of internal controls.
    • You will prepare audit work papers and ensure that all findings and recommendations are properly documented.
    • Gather adequate audit evidence to support findings and suggestions for improvement
    • Prepare audit reports for presentation to management and the audit committee.
    • Determine internal audit scope for particular assignments.
    • Issuing reports on findings of audits that highlight issues and potential impacts on business.
    • Conduct audit assignments for other regions whenever required to.
    • Provide administrative support to Audit Department.
    • Performs any other duties related to the job function as may be assigned.

    Qualification and Experience:

    • Minimum of 4 Years working experience in an audit firm.
    • Experience in the West Africa region is strongly preferred.
    • Bachelor’s degree in finance/Accounting or related fields from a recognized university.
    • ACCA/CPA/CIA/CISA certification or the equivalent qualification.
    • Member of a professional body in audit or related fields.
    • Able to pay attention to detail and possess high professionalism, integrity, and truthfulness.
    • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent report writing, and oral communication skills.
    • Team player with good interpersonal skills.
    • Advanced level of Excel use and analysis.
    • Knowledge of accounting systems.
    • Knowledge of professional standards.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

    Strategy and Operations Manager

    About The Job
    Position Summary:

    • M-KOPA is looking for someone to take an important position within the Ghana Management Team as the Strategy and Operations Manager. 
    • You will be to help expand M-KOPA's connected asset financing platform with analytical skills, strategic, and the ability to manage business development and cross-departmental projects.
    • You will be reporting to General Manager - Ghana.

    Responsibilities:

    • You will assist M-KOPA Ghana's management team in identifying, analyzing, and building on our highest commercial priorities.
    • You will lead the testing, piloting, and operational setup for product launches, including coordinating preparations across different departments.
    • You will support new channel development, including overseeing all end-to-end integrations, training, and service delivery required for launch.
    • You will manage the in-country marketing department and lead campaigns aimed at improving consumer education, driving acquisitions, and increasing customer retention.
    • You will lead business intelligence and data reporting to monitor our performance across and help develop practical action plans across main departments.
    • You will coordinate with M-KOPA's group business intelligence and market development teams to improve the Ghana market.
    • You will lead research and rapid analyses on M-KOPA's products, competitors, customers, and operations, and upskill staff on how to use these methods to create business insights and inform important decision-making.
    • You will drive strategic, operational, and cross-functional projects that result in improved customer acquisition, retention, and credit performance.
    • Project management initiatives with M-KOPA's main strategic partners across multiple industries.
    • You will coordinate with departmental heads to drive business improvements.
    • You will manage relationships with key strategic partners.

    Sales Executive - Greater Accra

    About The Job

    • M-KOPA is looking to hire a Sales Executive to manage all sales activities in a designated territory within a State. 
    • Candidates must reside within the territory.

    Key Acountabilities:

    • Monitor and deliver set sales targets within the designated territory.
    • Achieve and surpass sales targets of M-KOPA products by developing local networks.
    • Uphold the brand values of M-KOPA, including ensuring the M-KOPA retail point standard and guidelines are adhered to.

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Recruit, train, coach, mentor & supervise a field-based team of Direct Sales Representatives (DSR) to meet the set targets in line with M-KOPA business goals.
    • Keenly monitor and evaluate the performance of DSRs to meet the performance standards
    • Manage DSR inventory and resolve audit recommendations in line with M-KOPA audit resolution guidelines
    • Design Sales and Marketing Strategy for the team to ensure Weekly, Monthly, and Quarterly sales targets are reached.
    • Monitor and Analyze the performance of marketing campaigns
    • Report writing

    Experience, Education And Skills:

    • A First Degree Higher or a Higher National Diploma Holder
    • 3+ Years of Sales experience from Microfinance, Insurance, Telecommunications, MobileMoney, FMCG, or other products/services in Ghana.
    • Excellent sales and negotiation skills
    • Ability to motivate and lead a team
    • Planning, Organization, and Conflict-resolution skills
    • Excellent Presentation, Communication, Coaching, and People Skills
    • Great at leading a wide array of people to perform
    • Ability to work calmly under pressure
    • Should have a process-oriented mindset
