    Security Guards

    Duties and Responsibilities

    •  Assisting in keeping the security situation on campus under constant review
    •  Performing escort duties with regard to the institution’s property and cash transportation as directed
    •  Patrolling around the institution’s offices, classrooms, hostel and residential areas
    •  Assisting in the preparation of reports and statements on criminal cases
    •  Assisting in taking care of office equipment and responding to emergencies without delay

    Qualification Required & Experience

    Job Requirement and Experience

    •  Preferred candidate must have attained the rank of Lance corporal in the Police Service or equivalent status in the Armed Forces with a clean record or possess a minimum of GCE “O” Level/BECE with 4 passes including English language Or a minimum of 5 years experience with a recognised private security organisation

    Qualification Required & Experience

    •  Applicant must possess the NTVI Certificate in Mansonry or its equivalent issued by a recognised institution or intermediate certificate in Block Laying and concreting (B & C) or its equivalent or block laying and concreting (B & C) Advanced craft
    •  Applicant must have at least 2 years psot qualification experience
    •  Assisting in block-laying duties, screening, concrete casting, plastering and rendering works in the University

    Qualification Required & Experience

    •  Applicant must possess the NTVI Grade (I) Certificate in Plumbing or its equivalent issued by a recognised institution
    •  Applicant must have at least 2 years post qualification experience
    •  Assisting in repairing of broken pipes, water closet units, faulty kitchen sinks and water heaters etc
    •  Assisting in laying water pipes, sewage pipes and fixing of plumbing fixtures and fittings
    •  Assisting in taking care of tools and equipment entrusted to them

    Carpenter

    Qualification Required & Experience

    •  Applicant must have an NTVI Grade (I) Certificate (Carpentry & Joinery / Furniture Craft) or Advanced (Carpentry & Joinery / Furniture Craft) issued by a recognized institution
    •  Applicant must have at least 2 years post qualification experience
    •  Performing carpentry services for the University and carry out routine maintenance work on doors, roofs, etc
