    Account Manager Public Sector

    The successful candidate will join as a Manager for Public Sector in the AirtelTigo Business Department. (S)He will report to the Director for AirtelTigo Business Sales and will lead a team to implement enterprise sales strategy and plan to grow revenue and sales order values for Public Sector accounts. (S)He will also lead team to safeguard and grow revenue from allocated Public Sector accounts nationally through account planning and opportunity management and relationship building to meet annual targets for sales and revenues, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide account data to the Director, B2B Sales for developing a sales plan and monitoring its implementation
    • Leadership of account and virtual teams to meet targets for profitability and revenues.
    • Develop contact strategies and account development plans (ADP) for sector allocated.
    • Develop a pipeline of prospects which are systematically qualified, managing the decision-making process within allocated accounts to ensure sales prospects are closed.
    • Exercise thought leadership at Board level within the allocated accounts, demonstrating an understanding of the business strategies and communications dependencies of the customer; and presenting the compelling value proposition of AirtelTigo Business.
    • Identify sales training and development needs and manage skills enhancement for team and virtual account team.

    Required Qualification and Experience

    • Minimum of a degree in Business Studies degree or equivalent
    • Minimum of 6 years’ experience of sales /account management in an enterprise solutions environment (preferably in Telecoms)
    • Consultative-based selling skills
    • Proven leadership abilities in a corporate turn-around environment.
    • A good understanding of Solution Sales in a Competitive Telecommunication   Environment.
    • Ability to input into "thought leadership" throughout Enterprise Business and customer organizations

    Account Payable Manager

    The successful candidate will join as a Manager for Account Payment in the Finance Department. (S)He will report to the Financial Controller and will be responsible for managing the accounts payable team and is responsible for the efficient management of the purchase ledger functions and the timely payment of all supplier invoices. (S)He will also ensure sound Financial & Accounting practice to capture all the transactions as and when they occur in the right amounts and format. Also more importantly ensure compliance with AirtelTigo Accounting / Internal control policies and IFRS and ensure the company’s reputation and image is always protected by keeping suppliers reasonably engaged and satisfied.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Maintain and monitor controls within the accounts payable team in line with AirtelTigo internal policies and statutory requirements.
    • Ensure appropriate policies and procedures are applied at all times when dealing with all aspects of the supplier invoice processes, staff claim processes and supplier management.
    • Ensure processes exist to follow up on a timely and consistent basis, all open workflow items in the payable processes.
    • Implement and review on a monthly basis, payable reports to inform cash decisions and communications with strategic suppliers.
    • Ensure documents are properly filed and archived on a timely basis and in an efficient way in accordance with company policy and statutory requirements.
    • Work with financial systems and supply chain to ensure an accurate supplier master-data is always updated in ERP.
    • Work closely with the business and the treasury team to ensure all supplier payments are made on time.
    • Review Journal entries, accrual, and prepayment positions to ensure transactions are accurately captured.
    • Ensure supplier reconciliations are performed on a timely and consistent basis and all variances discussed with suppliers and for a timely closure.
    • Lead the month end close process from the AP side, including accruals advice based on review of Open POs and other information.
    • Ensure mechanisms are implemented to address supplier disputes and queries on a timely basis.
    • Create avenues to ensure suppliers are fully engaged and constantly updated on process changes.
    • Ensure suppliers are notified on a timely basis when payments and tax certificates are ready for collection.
    • Supervise the daily operations of accounts payable team; ensuring a structure exists to make the team efficient and responsive to the business needs.
    • Use innovative thinking and ability to challenge existing processes.
    • Drive process improvement by working closely with all stakeholders to evaluate current processes and procedures, recommend new practices, procedures and systems to improve operating efficiencies and internal controls.
    • Assist in the Company’s annual audit with the external auditors.
    • Assisting in various departmental projects.

    Required Qualification and Experience

    • At least 8 years relevant work experience (preferably in a multinational setting).
    • Bachelor level degree in accounting
    • ACCA/CA – final level qualification
    • People management experience and a proven ability to lead teams and drive change and process improvement.

    • Experience in ERP and financial systems savvy.
    • An excellent working knowledge of IFRS.
    • Confident communication skills as this role involve liaising with various key senior managers of the business and suppliers.

    Portal, Online and Social Media Manager

    The successful candidate will join our Marketing function as a manager, for our Portal, Online and Social Media platforms. (S)He will report to the Head, Digital Marketing and New Product Development. The successful candidate will identify and manage relevant channels, plan and execute the promotion of the AirtelTigo brand and products through effective AI-powered digital advertising, audience engagement and community/influencer management across all channels. (S)he will also be responsible for implementing a complete Website and Social Media strategy to grow online followers, with key focus on turning these online followers into promoters.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Working with the Digital Agency and other partners, you will manage contents on the AirtelTigo owned digital portals including AirtelTigo App, Website, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube accounts.
    • Execute the social media strategy for the business and ensure it aligns with the commercial and brand objectives.
    • Develop and execute a compelling content calendar across all platforms – ensuring timely, relevant and engaging content. This includes revenue growth and brand building activities – this should translate into increased scores for engagement and Net Promoter Score.
    • Work with the customer service back office social media team to create a positive and a reliable brand image for the business by resolving all customer issues online within the required response times.
    • Identify, manage and engage Digital Influencers for all digital brand and product activations.
    • Ensure all campaigns are properly booked and tracked for results and accurate spend.

    Required Qualification and Experience

    Manager, CVM & Campaign Management


    The successful candidate will join our team as a Manager, for CVM and Campaign Management in the Marketing Department. (S)He will report to the Head, Usage & Retention and will be responsible for designing, scheduling, executing, and owning planned campaigns to achieve the targeted revenue and conversions from the engaged customer segments.     Indirect Sales Supervisor


    The successful candidate will join as an Indirect sales supervisor in the sales and distribution department. (S)He will report to Regional Sales Manager and will be responsible for managing the company’s retail acquisition channels in the territory. (S)he will also liaise with the Regional Sales Manager to achieve strategic and operational goals.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Responsible for subscriber acquisition through Points of Acquisitions (POAs) within your assigned territory.

    Required Qualification and Experience

    • A university degree in any field or a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Marketing, Business Studies, or other related fields.
    •  A minimum of two (2) year experience in a Sales and Distribution role and operation experience preferable in FMCG.
    • Proficiency in IT software’s such as Microsoft Office, Distribution Management Systems, etc.
    • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in verbal and written English is essential.
