    QMS & FSMS Team Leader

    Role Purpose Statement:

    • To coordinate the establishment and the implementation of continuous quality management systems & Food Safety Management System and ensure compliance by monitoring performance in this regard throughout the hotel.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • As the QMS/FSMS Team Leader you shall ensure the inculcation of this discipline and culture throughout the hotel.
    • Ensure implementation and compliance of ISO 9001:2015 standard and QMS documented procedures in all service delivery.
    • Monitor compliance and perform spot checks to ensure standards are maintained always.
    • Schedule and coordinate Internal and external Audits.
    • Plan, consolidate agendas and schedule Management review meetings for QMS.
    • Monitoring quality objectives as set and documented.
    • Sensitize all employees on QMS and its importance to the company.
    • Follow up to ascertain that Corrective Action Reports and Preventive Action Reports are addressed amicably.
    • Liaison with external parties on challenges faced during implementation of the QMS.
    • Identify and highlight any areas for potential improvement.
    • Prepare and maintain all ISO required documentation.
    • Update management on the performance of the Hotel with respect to quality and customer satisfaction and any need for improvement.
    • Conduct bench marking to improve the quality in all aspects continuously.
    • Assist in Hygiene training and ensure they are followed up on practices.
    • Facilitate work environment survey.
    • As the FSMS Team Leader you shall ensure the inculcation of this discipline and culture throughout the hotel.
    • Ensure implementation and compliance of ISO 22000:2005 standard and FSMS documented procedures in all service delivery.
    • Monitor compliance and perform spot checks to ensure standards are maintained always.
    • Schedule and coordinate Internal and external Audits.
    • Plan, consolidate agendas and schedule Management review meetings for FSMS.
    • Monitoring quality objectives as set and documented.
    • Sensitize all employees on FSMS and its importance to the company.
    • Follow up to ascertain that Corrective Action Reports and Preventive Action.
    • Reports are addressed amicably.
    • Liaison with external parties on challenges faced during implementation of the FSMS.
    • Update management on the performance of the Hotel with respect to quality and customer satisfaction and any need for improvement.
    • Ensure the promotion of awareness of Customer requirements throughout the entire organization.
    • Coordinate HACCP and Hygiene trainings and ensure they are followed up on practices
    • Any other duties reasonably within your scope as delegated by your supervisor or the management.

    Requirements

    • Relevant Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Food Science and Technology.
    • 2 Years’ experience in both Quality Management System and Food safety Management Systems.
    • Knowledge and Appreciation of ISO standards ISO 9001:2015
    • Knowledge of Internal audit experience ISO/IEC 17025:2005
    • Able to guide management on QMS and FSMS matters
    • Computer proficient and able to provide diverse reports.
    • Appreciation of ISO standards ISO 22000:2005 and 9001:2015

    Assistant Restaurant Manager

    Role Statement Purpose:

    • Manages daily restaurant operations and assists with menu planning, maintains sanitation standards and assists servers and hosts on the floor during peak meal periods.Strives to improve guest continually and employee satisfaction and maximize financial performance in areas of responsibility.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide feedback and coaching to the team regularly.
    • Works with food and beverage staff to ensure proper food presentation of policies and obtain feedback from staff members.
    • Is capable of handling irate customers with a friendly/calm attitude.
    • Ensures product quality and great service.
    • Priorities tasks effectively to ensure the most important tasks are completed on time.
    • Seeks, listens, and responds to guest feedback.
    • Coaches team on how to exceed Guest expectations.
    • Proficiency in Point of sale (POS) software, Restaurant guest satisfaction tracking software, etc.
    • Assist in planning regular and special event menus in collaboration with the banquets/Restaurant Manager.
    • Ensure all grooming standards are adhered to in the hotel outlet.
    • Tracking, reporting, and management of breakages.
    • Total receipts and balance against sales, deposit receipts, and lock facility at the end of the day.
    • Cross-check bar inventory daily.

    Requirements

    • Diploma in Hotel Management or its equivalent
    • Has effectively managed team members for 12+ months
    • Previous experience in a similar job role.
    • Coached and improved performance of at least one poorly performing team member/ Supervisor.
