    Category Manager

    We are in search of a Category Manger who thrives in complex and ambiguous situations, possess a strong knowledge in product innovation and is passionate about brand strategy. As the job holder, Innovation you should have experience with brand innovation, assisting with the development of product innovation pipeline, and building a holistic brand strategy. The ideal candidate must be highly motivated, energetic and able to work as part of a team and at a fast pace. This role reports to the Director Marketing, Africa and works closely with crossfunctional partners including operations, design, procurement, quality assurance, sales, regulatory, and R&D.

    What can you expect from us?

    • Guiding the development and execution of global Africa product innovation pipeline and leading projects from ideation to launch
    • Assessing the market sizing of potential new categories leveraging a consumer, company, and competitive analysis while considering price, product, promotions, and placement
    • Building a consumerdriven innovation pipeline and product propositions with collaboration from key crossfunctional teams (insights, analytics, R&D)
    • Developing business cases (in collaboration with R&D, operations, sales, finance, supply chain, procurement, etc.) that deliver on key performance indicators including developing cost estimates, pricing, and capex
    • Lead projects commercialization taking projects from idea to execution in collaboration with key crossfunctional teams (product development, operations, regulatory, legal, finance, sales, etc.) – includes product and packaging development, manufacturing pathways, marketing
    • Developing integrated new product launch campaigns, POS, digital, etc.
    • Collaborating with sales and retail partners to effectively execute commercial plans and to develop programing for key customers
    • Collaborate and develop the talents of others with the potential of leading a team of direct reports
    • Managing and tracking A&P and innovation budgets

    • Must have a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Marketing or related subject matter. Advanced degree is a plus
    • 5+ years’ relevant experience; consumer goods/alcohol experience
    • Demonstrated ability to develop innovative consumerdriven product plans and commercialize with excellence
    • Ability to set agenda and chart course forward in a lean team environment
    • Ability to think outofthe box and drive creative solutions
    • Ability to read/analyze consumer research and syndicated data and trends
    • Experience with understanding/interpreting financials and in managing a budget
    • Experience involving product pricing, packaging and brand positioning
    • Passion for the consumer with creative thinking and problemsolving skills
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills while being process orientated
    • Very organized and hardworking with the ability to multitask and prioritize

    Commercial Finance Business Partner

    We are looking for a Finance Business Partner that will support our commercial team having below as key responsibilities:

    • Perform financial support for Business Units according to company policies in order to provide management information, advice and criteria that allow an indepth analysis of the evolution of the business and providing effective commercial procedures, or initiating change, to ensure key operational, commercial and financial targets are delivered.
    • Control the budget to provide the Business Units with an indepth analysis and diagnosis of the identified deviations.
    • Control and analyze the expenses, structure costs and other variables that influence the margins and profitability of the business to evaluate the causes of deviations and their reasoning
    • Directly advise the Business Units to drive and assure followup on timely or structural corrective measures for the identified deviations.
    • Direct and coordinate the analysis and resolution of inquiries from the Business Units regarding the economicfinancial impact of commercial or marketing projects or decisions
    • Implement processes and follow up on uniform and effective commercial control criteria to improve followup on the prices and margins of the Business Units
    • Improving the impact, and understanding of financial reporting on business performance
    • Providing effective commercial procedures, or initiating change, to ensure key operational, commercial and financial targets are delivered
    • Present to the executive management team at each month end, a precise commentary on the month’s performance, highlighting any areas of concerns and potential risks in future months
    • Modelling of business case to ascertain the commercial viability of key investments and other commercial activities.

    • At least 4-5 years of experience in a similar role in the FMCG industry
    • Excellent knowledge of commercial finance business partnering
    • Relevant Degree, e.g. Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration or similar
    • Fluent in English. French would be beneficial
    • Good at meeting deadlines and solving problems
    • Analytical skills with detail orientation
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Open mindset, proactiveness, team work
