    Director, Works & Physical Development

    Ghana Institute of Journalism is seeking to recruit Director, Works & Physical Development.

    Specific Roles

    •  Advise management on the formulation of policies concerning the development, maintenance, acquisition of all physical infrastructure and other related issues such as contract management
    •  Supervise the implementation of all management policies, ensuring cost efficiency and quality as well as initiating project designs and ensuring that they conform to current national and international standards and legislation

    Qualification Required & Experience

    •  Must hold a minimum of a Master’s Degree in Building Technology, Land Economy, Estate Management or related discipline plus relevant professional qualification
    •  Applicant should have served as Deputy Director of Works and Physical Development in a University or comparable grade in a similar institution /organization for at least 6 years
    •  Applicants must be computer literate

    Deputy Registrar (Academic Affairs)

    Qualification Required & Experience

    •  Must hold at least a Master’s Degree in a relevant area from a recognised tertiary institution
    •  Must have at least 7 years relevant post qualification experience in a similar position in a higher educational institution. Senior Assistant Registrars with appreciable experience in the provision of academic and administrative support services in a higher educational institution are eligible to apply
    •  Must have strong administrative managerial competence
    •  Must have excellent organizational and time management skills
    •  Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    •  Must have high sense of integrity
    •  Must be able to handle multiple duties and produce results
    •  Must have very good computer skills

    Assistant Internal Auditor

    Qualification Required & Experience

    •  Must hold at least a Master’s Degree in Auditing, Accounting or related area from a recognised tertiary institution
    •  Must in addition to be a Chartered Accountant/member of a recognised Accounting/Auditing body (ICA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA).
    •  Must have at least 2 years post-qualification relevant experience in a reputable organisation
    •  Must have expertise risk management/information technology auditing skills
    •  Must possess excellent analytical and computational skills

    Research Officer

    Qualification Required & Experience

    •  Must hold at least an MPil Degree in Communications Studies, Economics, Statistics or related area from a recognised tertiary institution
    •  Must have at least 2 years relevant experience
    •  Must be proficient in software for data analysis
    •  Must have excellent time management and analytical skills
    •  Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    •  Must have excellent skills in administering contract research
