    Shift Engineer

    Job Description

    • The jobholder will monitor & control the operations of the Ethanol Production Plant to maintain an excellent and steady production process in a 24 hour operation.

    Duties

    • Monitor & control the operations of the Ethanol Processing Plant through supervision of operational staff provided in shifts.
    • Coordinate between different sections of the unit to solve any problem that may arise.
    • To maintain the optimum process parameter as finalized and instructed by the management to maintain regular & steady production with excellent quality.
    • Maintaining the records of consumption of raw materials. Also controlling the consumption of chemicals & minimize wastage.
    • To make all the efforts to maintain a clean, hazard-free work environment.
    • To keep informed the management about any problems faced & also feedback the routine information.
    • Overall monitoring of staff and troubleshooting
    • Monitoring of quality of products from raw material to finished products.
    • Planning for routine and annual shutdowns of the plant or as per requirement.
    • To supervise all maintenance jobs during shifts & issue maintenance slips, safety permits, etc. as per laid down procedure.
    • Coordinate with all the services departments such as Mechanical, Electrical, Instruments, and Utilities, to achieve the objectives of the repair, where required.
    • To monitor, control & regulate all the process parameters of the plant to maintain regular & steady production with excellent quality in liaison with QC Lab.

    Qualification Required & Experience

    • Minimum HND/Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related fields.
    • Have sound knowledge of the processing plant; Schematic Drawings, DCS / PLC, and can operate diverse types of pumps, cooling towers, boilers, distillation columns, etc.
    • At least 6 years of experience in a Chemical manufacturing or industrial setting.
    • Industrial Safety Certified i.e. Electrical, Chemical or Mechanical Safety.
    • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.

    Utility Operator

    Job Description

    • The job holder ensures the continuous operation of the utility Plants at our facilities, along with routine inspections, maintenance, and keeping of vital records.

    Duties

    • Operate the Plant Utilities System, i.e., Steam Boilers, Cooling Towers, Water Softeners, Air Compressors, and ancillary equipment.
    • Ensure continuous operation by performing routine inspections and maintenance, monitoring metering equipment, and adjusting levels as necessary as well as maintaining all the necessary records.
    • Implement and follow all the standard laws relating to the safe operation of the equipment.
    • Carry out chemical analysis of the operating fluids and adjust the operation accordingly.
    • Able to operate different types of pumps, Manual and auto valves, Safety Valves, etc.
    • Perform scheduled maintenance of the equipment as well as Startup/Shutdowns of the respective machinery.
    • Ensure the continuous supply of Steam, Cooling Water, Compressed Air, and other Utilities to the plant as per required parameters and take appropriate action to ensure continuous and reliable operation of equipment and systems.
    • Able to Read blueprints, manuals, schematics, and building codes to problem solve or install as necessary.
    • Make all efforts to maintain a clean, hazard-free work environment.
    • Maintain inventory of all Chemicals, Spare parts, and tools to ensure their proper supply at all times.

    Qualification Required & Experience

    • HND/Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
    • Full certification to operate standard boiler machinery
    • At least 2 years of working experience as a boiler operator is required, 4 years preferred.
    • Have sound knowledge of Utility equipment and its operations.
    • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite.

    Production Plant Operator

    Job Description

    • The jobholder will be monitoring and overseeing plant operations and assisting with startup, shutdown, and operations of the Rectification Unit. Ethanol production is a 24-hour-a-day, 7-day-a-week operation and requires operations staff to work in a shift system.

    Duties

    • To monitor, control & regulate all the process parameters of the plant to maintain regular & steady production with good quality as per instructions provided by the management.
    • Monitoring and overseeing plant operations and assisting with startup, shutdown, and operations of the Rectification Unit.
    • Observing gauges, dial switches, alarms, and other indicators to ensure that all machines are working properly.
    • To make all the efforts to maintain a clean, hazard-free work environment.
    • Ensuring that safety and environmental rules and programs are strictly adhered to.
    • To pursue all the maintenance jobs at the plant as per instructions. Also, take part in preventive and corrective maintenance measures.
    • Monitoring of quality of products from raw material to finished products.
    • To keep informed the shift engineer about any problems faced & also feedback the routine information.

    Qualification Required & Experience

    • Minimum HND/Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related fields.
    • Have sound knowledge of processing plant equipment and can operate diverse types of pumps, cooling towers, boilers, distillation columns, etc.
    • At least 3 years of experience in a Chemical manufacturing or industrial setting.
    • Have sound knowledge of plant operation through DCS / PLC and worked previously on them.
    • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Understands basic Safety standards.
