    Talent Quality-Assurance Volunteer

    About the Opportunity

    • We are looking for a Volunteer who would help in streamlining the volunteer acquisition process. You would be responsible for ensuring volunteers are properly profiled and adhering to community standards. You would keep documentations that relate to role availability and ensure that metrics are properly qualified.

    Working with our CEO and Acquisition Lead, your volunteer role includes:

    • Updating the volunteer acquisition spreadsheets.
    • Check for volunteer profile compliance.
    • Assess for expression of interest (sign-ups).
    • Update the team as to shortfalls.
    • Collate the details of performing teammates.
    • Management of team documentations.
    • Proffer feedback to management.

    Requirements

    • Fluent in English.
    • Experience in talent management or human resource management.
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Excellent record keeping.
    • Ability to network and gain access to the right environment

    Product Management Volunteer

    Details About opportunity

    • People in Product Management are responsible for helping the organization obtain better brand recognition and financial growth. They coordinate with company executives, sales & marketing teams the review of current market trends to propose new product ideas that can improve revenue margins.
    • Product managers work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development.

    What you will do:

    • Product Managers usually work closely with Sales Representatives to find and close new products or expand existing business opportunities.
    • They also work directly with customers to educate on products’ technicals, so they must have good customer service skills and a strong understanding of their company’s products and services

    Key Responsibilities

    Working with the Marketing team lead, your volunteer role includes:

    •  Realize product discovery: build a solid understanding of the company’s market, personas, and the competitive landscape, leverage the knowledge acquired through research to guide decisions and make recommendations for the identification of new features opportunities
    •  Define product vision and strategy: nurture the product vision and turn that into a strategy, and make sure the team understands and embraces it through engaging communication.
    •  Own the roadmap building and delivery: organize user feedback collection, keep close to our customers and merchants to understand needs, animate feature team rituals and work closely with the development lead to deliver new features and products to make sure we have reliable and yet ambitious roadmaps, with the expected level of delivery quality.
    •  Scale the team: contribute to the global growth of the product team by engaging in knowledge sharing, best practice implementation, and creating new processes to help us adapt as we scale
    •  Translate our vision into a clear roadmap and a list of required and prioritized features ;
    • Come up with creative and business-valid ideas to offer new value and satisfy our merchants
    •  Develop a robust analytic framework for our product’s efficiency.

    Education and experience

    • High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)
    •  Experience in Product Development and Technology (preferred)
    •  Experience with Classifiers and Machine Learning (preferred)
    • Knowledge in consumer electronics and the retail environment (preferred)

    Skills and Requirements

    • Fluent in English
    • Undergraduate degree or similar education in Product Development or Business.
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Excellent record keeping.
    • Attention for details.
    • Interest in technology and the ability to quickly learn new products and features
    • Self-starter with a strong commitment to driving results
    • Enthusiastic, initiative-taking, and outgoing personality that is comfortable in a competitive environment
    • Professional demeanor, excellent verbal, and written communication skills
    • Access to a smartphone (iPhone or Android).
