    VAS Operations Specialist

    Role Purpose

    1. To create a high value productivity and availability within Vodafone Ghana in support of the VAS business strategy and to maintain high standards of service quality and reliability within the VAS services operations.
    2. To act as a high level of operational support for product implementation, network integration/expansion and issue resolution for all VAS network elements. Equipment include (but not limed to) SMSC, EIR, USSDGW, OTA (Device Configurations), Voicemail, Phone Book, USSD API Gateway, USSD Multiplexer, USSD Reseller, Voucher Management USSD,CRBT and IVR. Services include (but not limited to) all Value added service and new innovations platforms that are introduced. 

    Job Responsibility

    1. Provide 2nd level maintenance support for all VAS network elements. This shall include but not limited to all escalations from 1st Line, implementation of platform upgrades and system expansions. 
    2. Implement project related activities as well as other initiatives within the VAS setup.  
    3. Provide specialist technical advice and information to IN Ops, VAS & Billing Operations Manager and propose ideas for improvement standards in line with the trends in technology. 
    4. Execute decisions to maintain service continuity of the VAS platforms and services. 
    5. Provide relevant technical information/options to enable the IN Ops, VAS & Billing Operations Manager take effective decisions during emergency situations.   
    6. Ability to take and manage decisions effectively during emergency situations in the absence of the IN Ops, VAS & Billing Operations Manager 
    7. Implement rollout of routine business requirements including but not limited to Short code changes, Building USSD menus, SMS and USSD code routing requests and other service requests on the VAS platforms to deliver new services and improve on existing services. 
    8. Engage members of other departments in resolution of issues as well as planning of network related projects. 
    9. Participate in knowledge transfer sessions across members of the Service Operations team. 
    10. Provide input into the training needs for the VAS team. 
    11. Monitor the performance of network vendors during 3rd level issue escalation and provide necessary feedback to IN Ops, VAS & Billing Operations Manager regarding performance and propose ideas for improvement of standards.  
    12. Provide input and ideas into the assessment of technical feasibility of new products or service propositions from the Business Unit

    Product Owner

     Role Purpose

    • To be part of Agile squad and to set, prioritize, and evaluate the work of the squad in order to ensure timely and efficient delivery of product features and functionality. To be a part of the product owner chapter and contribute to product development, release and best practise documentation and implementation.

    MIS and Data Science Manager

    Job Description
    The MIS & Data Science Manager:

    •     Supervise the operational drive to ensure that the D&A team meets its objectives in an effective and efficient manner.
    •     Enhancing data collection procedures to include all relevant information for developing analytic systems.
    •     Using machine learning tools to select features, create and optimize classifiers and carrying out pre-processing of structured and unstructured data.
    •     Supervise the delivery of accurate, insightful, and timely analysis into the performance of the business.

    Finance Business Partner - CBU & VF Cash

    Job Description

    • To provide the Consumer Business Unit within Vodafone Ghana with financial guidance, commercial insights, and value-added analysis with the sole aim of driving the unit towards overall business objectives.
    • The role which works as a business partner to Consumer is in a matrix structure with a solid-line reporting into the Finance organisation under the CFO, and a dotted line into the CBU Director.
    • As business partner the key responsibility is to be an integral part of its customers’ financial decision making. This decision making involves bottom line impacting activities including (but not limited to) investment appraisal, complex financial modelling, forecasting, and planning, cost control, business case development, budgeting, sales performance analytics and best-practice financial advice. The Finance Business Partner is the Single Point of Contact and the conduit for its customers back into the wider finance team.

    Job Responsibility

    • Performance reporting, Analysis and Framework for performance evaluation
    •  Full ownership of business performance report: across all product lines and segment providing insight on trends and necessary corrective actions
    •  Define templates and metrics to periodically (daily, weekly, and monthly) track and report revenue performance by product and segments against expectations.
    •  End to End management ownership of business logic definition, Consumer Management Information Reporting analysis for key functions
    •  Manage the generation of business intelligence to serve as input for the allocation of Consumer targets for segments, products and regions

    •  Experience from a fast-moving technology or telecoms business with an in-depth knowledge of Mass Consumers will be a distinct advantage
    •  Part-Qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA- Ghana, UK or other ECOWAS institutes) or MBA from a highly reputable university
    •  Exceptionally well organised with evidence of deploying organisational skills in a fluid environment
    •  Can deliver to time, cost and quality parameters; effective management of multiple initiatives; ensures an effective use of resources

    Cyber Security Specialist

    Role Purpose

    • Manage and lead the Technology Security Cyber Security Baseline Assurance needs across Vodafone Ghana. To further provide security assurance, guidance and support to high profile projects according to company defined policies and requirements, best practice and local/international standards (PCI, SOX, ISO27001, GDPR, POPIA and Cyber Crime Bill of 2015) relevant to the technology security area. He/She should have credible experience in Information Security and Cyber Security Governance, Risk and Assurance based on proven frameworks such as COBIT 5, ISO27001/2, and the NIST Cybersecurity Framework. As a key member of the Vodafone Ghana Cyber Security team, the candidate should be comfortable with driving information security assurance ideas and communicating clearly with technical as well as non-technical audiences
