Accounts Officer at Transsnet Payments Ghana Ltd (PalmPay)

The objective of the Account Receivables Officer is to ensure that:

• Accounting and clerical duties relating to the efficient maintenance and processing of transactions are performed and on time.
• Reliable Financial data is processed and reported.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Provide accounting and clerical support to the Finance Department.
• Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies.
• Verify the accuracy of accounting documents.
• Prepare and maintain accounting documents and records accurately.
• File historical records of all Vendor invoices and payments appropriately.
• Retrieve documents needed for periodic audits.
• Provide a monthly schedule of all Bank Account Balances as reconciled against the Cash Book.
• Ensure accurate and timely reconciliation of banking transactions for all the bank accounts maintained by TPGL.
• Reviews, revises and maintains internal accounting controls and procedures.
• Report all prepaid and accrued expenses at the end of the month.
• Compile reports on key activity as directed by the Finance Manager.
• Provide assistance and support on Finance to company personnel.
• Any other related work that may be assigned

Qualification

• First degree in Finance/Accounting
• Any level of professional qualification will be an added advantage.
• 3-4 years’ experience in a similar/related role
