    Administrative and Procurement Assistant

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Provide Administrative support in the application and acquisition of visas, work and residence permits and renewed permit to use radios
    • Assist in Tax exemption applications
    • Assist in the Procurement of general goods/works and services (market survey, purchases, collections and delivery to Agogo etc) from Accra
    • Assist with the outflow and inflow of correspondences between Forestry Commission Head Office and Miro Foresty Company
    • Assist in Acquisition of import permits on our fertilizers, seeds, chemicals
    • Other ancillary jobs from management and Agogo office

    Qualification Required & Experience

    • A minimum of HND in Supply Chain Management, Procurement Management, Purchasing & Supply or any other relevant field from an accredited tertiary institution
    • Minimum of 1 year experience in a contracts and procurement processes and administrative/support role with strong references to Immigration processes

    Personal qualities and competencies

    • Excellent relationship with suppliers Ghana Immigration Service, Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources, Forestry Commission, GRA (Costoms Officers), Ministry of Food and Agriculture Headquarters and its agencies like PPRSD, Agric. Engineering, Ministry of Finance, Ghana Investment Promotion Centre, Ghana Civil Aviation Authority, Ghana Communication Authority, Ghana Immigration service
    • Excellent communications and negotiation skills with suppliers and governmental authorities and agencies
    • Resourceful, self-driven, proactive and independent worker
    • Excellent organisation, verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong sense of initiation, responsibility, ownership and excellent attention to detail
    • Proficient with MS outlook, Excel and word business software are essential
