    Analyzing the Impact of Sulphur in Legacy and Ferari Trial Data on Yield of Maize, Rice and Soybean

    Methodology

    • This student shall utilize already collected legacy data and experimental from trials conducted by the FERARI program in 2020 and 2021 (and maybe even in 2022). With support of an agronomic statistician of FERARI, the student shall be required to provide a clear analytical methodology as to how best such a large database could best be analyzed.

    Output

    • At the end of the research, the student shall produce a report to FERARI on this research and extract the most important findings in a policy brief. The student would also be assisted to produce a research article that can be published in a scientific journal for our wider international audience.

    Qualification

    • An MPhil/MSc student in Agronomy, Soil Science, or Agriculture. Applicant must have completed his/her course work and ready to start the research component. The applicant must demonstrate high analytical and data processing skills, especially with the use of statistical methodologies and Microsoft Excel.
