    Business Development Associate

    Duties and responsibilities

    • Support the growth of Beyonic’s client and partner base in Ghana and identify, initiate, maintain and deepen relationships with key clients and partners to achieve sales objectives
    • Close new business with a combined minimum value of US$1000 in monthly net revenue
    • Actively grow, segment, qualify, and document a sales pipeline with not less than 40 leads each month
    • Collaboratively drive and support business development activities as needed and directed
    • Develop and maintain client relationships by conducting on-boarding, training and after-sales support
    • Identify, evaluate and pursue strategic business projects in Ghana and regionally, if applicable
    • Execute other duties as reasonably assigned

    Requirements
    Qualifications and experience

    • A relevant post high-school qualification
    • At least 5 years of experience in sales with a verifiable track record of successfully meeting and exceeding sales targets
    • Experience managing customer relationships
    • Experience effectively using using CRM tools for communication, management, and reporting
    • Experience working with a disbursed global team
    • SaaS, fintech, technology, finance, banking, or start-up/entrepreneurial experience all significant advantages
    • Pan-African exposure, experience and expertise would be an advantage

    Skills and competencies

    • Excellent command of the English language, both written and oral
    • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
    • Proactive approach to problem solving
    • Adaptable, flexible and comfortable working in an environment that is constantly evolving
    • Ability to work well under pressure
    • High level of integrity
    • Works well within a team and can also work autonomously where required
