Business Development Executive at Ricks Logistics Ltd

We, Ricks Logistics are one of the indigenous integrated logistics service providers in Ghana with branch offices in Sierra Leone and Ivory Coast. We are looking to hire a Business Development Executive to join our growing team.

The ideal candidate is a creative problem solver at heart who thrives in a team environment. You will help manage and oversee relationships with new and existing partners through high-touch networking, lead generation, and market research.

Responsibilities

• Own the entire proposal process: identify customer’s needs, develop win themes, and produce complete proposals
• Engage clients and prospects to sell the company’s services through pro-actively managing accounts for growth; and developing new business with targeted public and private sector organisations.
• Assess the competitive landscape and track key market trends and developments
• Provide excellent customer service and smooth communications with clients.
• Develops and implements communication strategies on key business unit initiatives, including outlining objectives and strategies, creating appropriate messaging, managing timelines and project deadlines and managing client contributions and expectations.
• Master relevant industry and business unit information.
• Lead end-to-end communications initiatives for a variety of external audiences, ensuring key message delivery, engagement, positive brand affinity and leadership credibility
• Develop and execute communications and media relations strategies that generate publicity
• Develop communications strategies for managing challenges and any potential crises possible for a young and growing business.
• Conduct regular news scans on industry trends, competitors, news-jacking opportunities.

Qualification Required & Experience

• BSc. Communications, Marketing, or other related courses.
• MBA and other related professional courses is an added advantage.
• At least 5 years of experience in related field
