Channel Operations Manager at Transsnet Payments Ghana Ltd (PalmPay)

Job Responsibilities

• Monitoring payment channels including but not only focusing on banking,switching company, financial technology company, payment system service provider (PSSP), PTSP, etc.
• Work closely with internal settlement, products, operation and compliance teams to fully understand payment channel requirement.
• Develop and adjust business development plans of connecting payment channels based on different sets of strategic priorities.
• Ensure payment channels has stable connection with our system and provide quick response to any channel related issue.
• Work closely with operation teams to suggest and recommend new initiatives that could improve customers experience with the usage of our mobile application and payment system.
• Prepare competitor's product comparative analysis, identifying areas for improvement of our company's product and channel capabilities.

Qualification & Required Skills

• 3-5 years of experience in channel operations
• Bachelor's degree in a tech related field
• Excellent track record and background in channel operations management and leading transformation.
• A very solid understanding of (region, market place, competition)
• Know the competition – channel model and structure
• Excellent listening, analytical, presentation, and problem solving skills.
• Excellent management skills – ability to lead direct and virtual teams and manage projects successfully.
• Sound understanding of critical drivers and associated priorities.
• Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills.
• Flexible – ability to work in an ever changing and demanding environment.
• Ability to manage ambiguity.
